I set out during the night with a few others. I had not told anyone what my God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem. There were no mounts with me except the one I was riding on.

Then at night I took a few other people with me to check out the walls. I hadn’t told anyone what my God wanted me to do for Jerusalem. There weren’t any donkeys with me except the one I was riding on.

Then I arose in the night, I and a few men with me. And I told no one what my God had put into my heart to do for Jerusalem. There was no animal with me but the one on which I rode.

I slipped out during the night, taking only a few others with me. I had not told anyone about the plans God had put in my heart for Jerusalem. We took no pack animals with us except the donkey I was riding.

I got up at night and took a few men with me. I didn’t tell anyone what my God had laid on my heart to do for Jerusalem. The only animal I took was the one I was riding.

And I got up in the night, I and a few men with me. I did not tell anyone what my God was putting into my mind to do for Jerusalem, and there was no animal with me except the animal on which I was riding.

神要众王行他的旨意，就把意念放在他们心中，叫他们同心把自己的国献给那兽，直到神的话都实现为止。

以斯拉说：“耶和华我们列祖的神是应该称颂的，因为他把这样的意念放在君王的心里，使他修饰那在耶路撒冷的耶和华的殿；

“但那些日子以后，我要与以色列家所立的约是这样（这是耶和华的宣告）：我要把我的律法放在他们里面，写在他们的心里。我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。

我亲爱的弟兄们，不要看错了。各样美好的赏赐，各样完备的恩赐，都是从上面、从众光之父降下来的，他本身并没有改变，也没有转动的影子。

感谢神，他把我对你们那样的热情，放在提多的心里。

我要和他们立永远的约，我必不离开他们，必使他们得到福乐；我也必把敬畏我的心赐给他们，使他们不会离开我。

基甸就从他的仆人中选出了十个人，照着耶和华告诉他的行了；但因为害怕他的父家和城里的人，就不敢在日间行事，只好在晚上作了。

求你按着你的美意善待锡安；求你修筑耶路撒冷的城墙。

为此，聪明人在这时代缄默无声，因这时代邪恶。

你们要为耶路撒冷求平安，说：“耶路撒冷啊！愿爱你的人都亨通。

不可信靠邻舍，也不可信任朋友，要守住你的嘴唇，不可向躺在你怀中的妻子透露。

撕裂有时，缝补有时；静默有时，讲话有时；

现在，你和与你在一起的人，要在夜间起来，在野地埋伏。

于是约书亚乘夜从吉甲上去，突然来到他们那里。

“现在，我差派你们出去，好像羊进到狼群中间；所以你们要像蛇一样机警，像鸽子一样纯洁。

雅各那夜起来，带着他的两个妻子、两个婢女和十一个孩子，都过了雅博渡口。他带着他们，先打发他们过河，然后又打发他所有的都过去。只留下雅各一人，有一个人来与他摔角，直到天快亮的时候。

约瑟就起来，连夜带着孩子和他母亲往埃及去，
