我又指派人按时供应木柴和奉献初熟之物。“我的神啊，求你记念我，施恩给我。”

我吩咐利未人洁净自己，然后来看守城门，使安息日分别为圣。“我的神啊，求你也因这事记念我，照着你丰盛的慈爱怜恤我！”

“我的神啊，求你记念我，记念我为这人民所作的一切事，施恩给我。”

因为神并不是不公义，以致忘记了你们的工作，和你们为他的名所表现的爱心，就是你们以前服事圣徒，现在还是服事他们。

得胜的，也必这样身穿白衣，我决不从生命册上涂抹他的名，我还要在我父和他的众天使面前，承认他的名。

希西家在犹大全地都这样行，他在耶和华他的神面前行良善、正直和诚实的事。他经办的一切事，无论是关于神殿的事奉，或是关于律法和诫命的遵行，他都寻求他的神。因为他尽心去行，所以尽都顺利。

他和列王一同埋葬在大卫城里，因为他在以色列为神和神的殿作了美善的事。

不但这样，因我爱慕我神的殿，就在我为建造圣殿预备的一切以外，又把我自己积蓄的金银献给我神的殿：

以斯拉说：“耶和华我们列祖的神是应该称颂的，因为他把这样的意念放在君王的心里，使他修饰那在耶路撒冷的耶和华的殿；

如果你需要支付你神的殿其余的费用，你可以从王的库房里支付。

我要你们知道，凡是祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的，作殿役的和在这神的殿里作仆人的，都不可以向他们征收税款、贡物和粮食。
