『你要作兩枝銀號筒，用錘的法子來作；使你可以召集會眾，也可以叫眾營往前行。他們吹兩枝的時候，全會眾都要聚集到你這裏、在會棚的出入處。他們若單吹一枝，眾首領、以色列的族系長、就要聚集攏來到你這裏。你們吹緊急聲的時候，那紮在東邊的營、都要往前行。你們第二次吹緊急聲的時候，那紮在南邊的營都要往前行。要往前行、他們總吹緊急聲的。但召集大眾的時候，你們要吹號筒，卻不要吹緊急聲。是亞倫子孫做祭司的要吹號筒：這要做你們世世代代永遠的條例。你們在本地若跟擾害你們的敵人交戰，就要用號筒吹緊急聲，那你們就要在永恆主你們的上帝面前被記起，也要得拯救脫離你們的仇敵。在你們的快樂日子和制定節期、及月初一、你們獻燔祭和平安祭的時候，也要用號筒吹緊急聲，這在你們的上帝面前要替你們使他記起：我永恆主是你們的上帝。』
