We will also bring the firstborn of our sons and our livestock, as prescribed by the law, and will bring the firstborn of our herds and flocks to the house of our God, to the priests who serve in our God’s house.

又照律法上所写的，将我们头胎的儿子和首生的牛羊都奉到我们神的殿，交给我们神殿里供职的祭司；

我们又照律法上所写的，将我们头胎的儿子和首生的牛羊都奉到我们上帝的殿，交给在上帝殿里供职的祭司；

我们又照律法上所写的，将我们头胎的儿子和首生的牛羊都奉到我们神的殿，交给在神殿里供职的祭司；

我们按照律法的规定献上我们的长子和头胎的牛羊，把他们带到我们上帝的殿中，交给在那里供职的祭司。

又要照着律法所写的，把我们头胎的儿子和牲畜，就是我们头胎的牛羊，都带到我们神的殿，交给在我们神的殿供职的祭司。

以我初胎之男、首生之牛羊、奉於我上帝室、給其中供職之祭司、循律所載、

以我初胎男子首生牛羊、攜入殿中、給供役之祭司、循律例所載。

我儕又誓、每歲必以我田初登之土產、及各樹初實之果、奉於主殿、

“ As it is also written in the Law, we will bring the firstborn of our sons and of our cattle, of our herds and of our flocks to the house of our God, to the priests ministering there.

“ Each of us will bring our oldest son to the priests who serve there. We’ll also bring the male animals that were born first to their mothers among our cattle, herds and flocks. We’ll bring them to the house of our God. That’s what the Law requires.

also to bring to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God, the firstborn of our sons and of our cattle, as it is written in the Law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks;

We agree to give God our oldest sons and the firstborn of all our herds and flocks, as prescribed in the Law. We will present them to the priests who minister in the Temple of our God.

and bring to the house of our God the firstborn of our sons and of our cattle, and the firstborn of our herds and our flocks as it is written in the Law, for the priests who are ministering in the house of our God.

We also accept responsibility, as is written in the law, for bringing the firstborn of our sons and our cattle and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks to the temple of our God, to the priests who are ministering in the temple of our God.

“ Consecrate every firstborn male to me, the firstborn from every womb among the Israelites, both man and domestic animal; it is mine.”

“ But no one can consecrate a firstborn of the livestock, whether an animal from the herd or flock, to the LORD, because a firstborn already belongs to the LORD.If it is one of the unclean livestock, it can be ransomed according to your assessment by adding a fifth of its value to it. If it is not redeemed, it can be sold according to your assessment.

“ The firstborn male from every womb belongs to me, including all your male livestock, the firstborn of cattle or sheep.

you are to present to the LORD every firstborn male of the womb. All firstborn offspring of the livestock you own that are males will be the LORD’s.You must redeem every firstborn of a donkey with a flock animal, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. However, you must redeem every firstborn among your sons.“ In the future, when your son asks you,‘ What does this mean?’ say to him,‘ By the strength of his hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, out of the place of slavery.When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the LORD killed every firstborn male in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of humans and the firstborn of livestock. That is why I sacrifice to the LORD all the firstborn of the womb that are males, but I redeem all the firstborn of my sons.’

Let the one who is taught the word share all his good things with the teacher.

A portion of the holiest offerings kept from the fire will be yours; every one of their offerings that they give me, whether the grain offering, sin offering, or guilt offering will be most holy for you and your sons.You are to eat it as a most holy offering. Every male may eat it; it is to be holy to you.“ The contribution of their gifts also belongs to you. I have given all the Israelites’ presentation offerings to you and to your sons and daughters as a permanent statute. Every ceremonially clean person in your house may eat it.I am giving you all the best of the fresh oil, new wine, and grain, which the Israelites give to the LORD as their firstfruits.The firstfruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to the LORD, belong to you. Every clean person in your house may eat them.“ Everything in Israel that is permanently dedicated to the LORD belongs to you.The firstborn of every living thing, human or animal, presented to the LORD belongs to you. But you must certainly redeem a human firstborn, and redeem the firstborn of an unclean animal.You will pay the redemption price for a month-old male according to your assessment: five shekels of silver by the standard sanctuary shekel, which is twenty gerahs.“ However, you must not redeem the firstborn of an ox, a sheep, or a goat; they are holy. You are to splatter their blood on the altar and burn their fat as a food offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD.But their meat belongs to you. It belongs to you like the breast of the presentation offering and the right thigh.“ I give to you and to your sons and daughters all the holy contributions that the Israelites present to the LORD as a permanent statute. It is a permanent covenant of salt before the LORD for you as well as your offspring.”

You are to bring there your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tenths and personal contributions, your vow offerings and freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.

Or do only Barnabas and I have no right to refrain from working?Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Or who shepherds a flock and does not drink the milk from the flock?Am I saying this from a human perspective? Doesn’t the law also say the same thing?For it is written in the law of Moses, Do not muzzle an ox while it treads out grain. Is God really concerned about oxen?Isn’t he really saying it for our sake? Yes, this is written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes should thresh in hope of sharing the crop.If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it too much if we reap material benefits from you?If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right; instead, we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.Don’t you know that those who perform the temple services eat the food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the offerings of the altar?In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should earn their living by the gospel.
