We will bring the firstfruits of our land and of every fruit tree to the LORD’s house year by year.

又定厥例、歲攜初登之土產、始實之樹菓、薦於耶和華室、

我儕有願、凡初登之土產、始實之樹果、歲薦耶和華殿、

我祭司、利未人、及民眾掣籤、每年何族於何時獻柴至我天主殿中、以燔於主我天主之祭臺上、循律法所載者、

“ We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the Lord each year the firstfruits of our crops and of every fruit tree.

“ We will also be accountable for bringing the first share of our crops each year. And we’ll bring the first share of every fruit tree. We’ll bring them to the Lord’ s house.

We obligate ourselves to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of every tree, year by year, to the house of the Lord;

“ We promise to bring the first part of every harvest to the Lord’s Temple year after year— whether it be a crop from the soil or from our fruit trees.

and so that they could bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all the fruit of every tree to the house of the Lord annually,

And we made ordinances to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, to the house of the Lord;

and to bring the first- fruits of our ground, and the first- fruits of all fruit of all manner of trees, year by year, unto the house of Jehovah;

We will bring the firstfruits of our land and of every fruit tree to the Lord’s house year by year.

And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:

We also accept responsibility for bringing the first fruits of our land and the first fruits of every fruit tree year by year to the temple of the LORD.

and to bring the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of all kinds of trees, year by year, to Yahweh’s house;

take some of the first of all the land’s produce that you harvest from the land the LORD your God is giving you and put it in a basket. Then go to the place where the LORD your God chooses to have his name dwell.

“ Bring the best of the firstfruits of your land to the house of the LORD your God.“ You must not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

“ Bring the best firstfruits of your land to the house of the LORD your God.“ You must not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

I am giving you all the best of the fresh oil, new wine, and grain, which the Israelites give to the LORD as their firstfruits.

“ When you come into the land and plant any kind of tree for food, you are to consider the fruit forbidden. It will be forbidden to you for three years; it is not to be eaten.In the fourth year all its fruit is to be consecrated as a praise offering to the LORD.But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way its yield will increase for you; I am the LORD your God.“ You are not to eat anything with blood in it. You are not to practice divination or witchcraft.

The king contributed from his own possessions for the regular morning and evening burnt offerings, the burnt offerings of the Sabbaths, of the New Moons, and of the appointed feasts, as written in the law of the LORD.He told the people who lived in Jerusalem to give a contribution for the priests and Levites so that they could devote their energy to the law of the LORD.When the word spread, the Israelites gave liberally of the best of the grain, new wine, fresh oil, honey, and of all the produce of the field, and they brought in an abundance, a tenth of everything.As for the Israelites and Judahites who lived in the cities of Judah, they also brought a tenth of the herds and flocks, and a tenth of the dedicated things that were consecrated to the LORD their God. They gathered them into large piles.In the third month they began building up the piles, and they finished in the seventh month.When Hezekiah and his officials came and viewed the piles, they blessed the LORD and his people Israel.Hezekiah asked the priests and Levites about the piles.The chief priest Azariah, of the household of Zadok, answered him,“ Since they began bringing the offering to the LORD’s temple, we have been eating and are satisfied and there is plenty left over because the LORD has blessed his people; this abundance is what is left over.”

But also bring your relatives with you from the tribe of Levi, your ancestral tribe, so they may join you and assist you and your sons in front of the tent of the testimony.

“ Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing me!”“ How do we rob you?” you ask.“ By not making the payments of the tenth and the contributions.You are suffering under a curse, yet you— the whole nation— are still robbing me.Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this way,” says the LORD of Armies.“ See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure.I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not ruin the produce of your land and your vine in your field will not fail to produce fruit,” says the LORD of Armies.“ Then all the nations will consider you fortunate, for you will be a delightful land,” says the LORD of Armies.

Honor the LORD with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
