我祭司、利未人、及民眾掣籤、每年何族於何時獻柴至我天主殿中、以燔於主我天主之祭臺上、循律法所載者、

“ We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the Lord each year the firstfruits of our crops and of every fruit tree.

“ We will also be accountable for bringing the first share of our crops each year. And we’ll bring the first share of every fruit tree. We’ll bring them to the Lord’ s house.

“ We promise to bring the first part of every harvest to the Lord’s Temple year after year— whether it be a crop from the soil or from our fruit trees.

and so that they could bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all the fruit of every tree to the house of the Lord annually,

And we made ordinances to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, to the house of the Lord;

and to bring the first- fruits of our ground, and the first- fruits of all fruit of all manner of trees, year by year, unto the house of Jehovah;

The king contributed some of what he owned for burnt sacrifices, including the morning and evening burnt sacrifices and the burnt sacrifices made on Sabbaths, new moon festivals, and at other appointed times prescribed in the law of the LORD.He ordered the people living in Jerusalem to contribute the portion prescribed for the priests and Levites so they might be obedient to the law of the LORD.When the edict was issued, the Israelites freely contributed the initial portion of their grain, wine, olive oil, honey, and all the produce of their fields. They brought a tenth of everything, which added up to a huge amount.The Israelites and people of Judah who lived in the cities of Judah also contributed a tenth of their cattle and sheep, as well as a tenth of the holy items consecrated to the LORD their God. They brought them and placed them in many heaps.In the third month they began piling their contributions in heaps and finished in the seventh month.When Hezekiah and the officials came and saw the heaps, they praised the LORD and pronounced blessings on his people Israel.When Hezekiah asked the priests and Levites about the heaps,Azariah, the head priest from the family of Zadok, said to him,“ Since the contributions began arriving in the LORD’s temple, we have had plenty to eat and have a large quantity left over. For the LORD has blessed his people, and this large amount remains.”

“ Bring with you your brothers, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, so that they may join with you and minister to you while you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony.

Can a person rob God? You indeed are robbing me, but you say,‘ How are we robbing you?’ In tithes and contributions!You are bound for judgment because you are robbing me– this whole nation is guilty.“ Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in my temple. Test me in this matter,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ to see if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no room for it all.Then I will stop the plague from ruining your crops, and the vine will not lose its fruit before harvest,” says the LORD who rules over all.“ All nations will call you happy, for you indeed will live in a delightful land,” says the LORD who rules over all.

Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;then your barns will be filled completely, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
