for the bread set out on the table; for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings; for the offerings on the Sabbaths, at the New Moon feasts and at the appointed festivals; for the holy offerings; for sin offerings to make atonement for Israel; and for all the duties of the house of our God.

It will pay for the holy bread that is placed on the table in the temple. It will pay for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings. It will pay for the offerings on the Sabbath days. It will pay for the offerings at the New Moon feasts and at the appointed feasts. It will pay for the holy offerings. It will be used for sin offerings to pay for the sins of Israel. It will also pay for everything else that needs to be done at the house of our God.

耶和华对摩西说：“你要吩咐以色列人说：‘你们应献给我的供物，就是献给我作馨香的火祭的食物，要小心按着日期献给我。’你又要对他们说：‘你们要献给耶和华的火祭是这样：没有残疾、一岁的公羊羔，每天两只，作为常献的燔祭。早晨要献一只，黄昏献一只；也要献一公斤细面，用捣成的油一公升调和，作为素祭。这就是常献的燔祭，是在西奈山规定，作为献给耶和华馨香的火祭。为每只公羊羔，要同献一公升作奠祭的酒；你要在圣所中把醇酒献给耶和华作奠祭。晚上你要献上另一只公羊羔，要照着早晨的素祭，和同献的奠祭献上，作馨香的火祭献给耶和华。“‘在安息日，要献两只没有残疾、一岁的公羊羔，也要献两公斤细面，用油调和作素祭；还有同献的奠祭。这是安息日献的燔祭；在那常献的燔祭和同献的奠祭以外。“‘每月第一日，你们要把燔祭献给耶和华，就是两头公牛犊、一只公绵羊、七只没有残疾一岁的公羊羔。为每头公牛，要献三公斤细面，用油调和作素祭；为每只公绵羊，要献两公斤细面，用油调和作素祭；为每只公羊羔，要献一公斤细面，用油调和作素祭；这是馨香的燔祭，是献给耶和华的火祭。每头公牛要献酒两公升作奠祭，每只公绵羊献酒一公升半，每只公羊羔献酒一公升。这是每月当献的燔祭，一年之中每个月都要这样。又要把一只公山羊作赎罪祭献给耶和华，在那常献的燔祭和同献的奠祭以外。“‘正月十四日，是耶和华的逾越节。这月十五日是节期；要吃无酵饼七日。第一日要有圣会，什么劳碌的工都不可作，只要献火祭给耶和华作燔祭，就是两头公牛犊、一只公绵羊和七只一岁的公羊羔，都要完全没有残疾的。同献的素祭，是用油调和的细面，为每头公牛犊要献三公斤；为每只公绵羊要献两公斤；为那七只公羊羔，每只要献一公斤；还要献一只公山羊作赎罪祭，为你们赎罪。除了早晨的燔祭，就是常献的燔祭以外，还要把这些祭物献上。一连七日，每日都要献上这样的祭物，给耶和华作馨香火祭的食物，是在常献的燔祭和同献的奠祭以外的。第七日你们要有圣会，什么劳碌的工都不可作。“‘在初熟日，即七七节那一天，你们把新素祭献给耶和华的时候，要有圣会，什么劳碌的工都不可作，只要把燔祭作为馨香的祭献给耶和华，就是两头公牛犊、一只公绵羊、七只一岁的公羊羔。同献的素祭，是用油调和的细面，为每头公牛要献三公斤；为每只公绵羊，要献两公斤；为那七只公羊羔，每只要献一公斤；

“你要取细面烤成十二个饼，每一个饼用两公斤细面。你要把饼摆列成两排，每排六个，放在耶和华面前精金的桌子（“精金的桌子”或译：“洁净的桌子”）上；

就召集了众祭司和利未人，对他们说：“你们要去到犹大各城，向所有以色列人募捐金钱，可以年年修建你们神的殿；你们应急速办理这事。”可是利未人却不急速办理。于是王把大祭司耶何耶大召来，对他说：“你为什么不命令利未人把耶和华的仆人摩西和以色列的会众，为法柜的会幕规定的税款，从犹大和耶路撒冷征收回来，作修殿的费用呢？”原来那恶妇亚他利雅的众子曾经拆毁神的殿，又把耶和华殿中一切分别为圣的物品用来供奉巴力。于是王下令，他们就造了一个柜，放在耶和华殿的门外；又在犹大和耶路撒冷发出通告，叫人把神的仆人摩西，在旷野规定以色列人缴交的税款带来，献给耶和华。众领袖和人民都欢欢喜喜把税款带来，投进柜中，直到他们都投完了。利未人把银柜抬到王指定负责这事的人那里的时候，他们看见税银很多，王的书记和大祭司的属员就来把银柜倒空，然后抬回原处。天天都是这样，所以收集了很多银子。王和耶何耶大把银子交给耶和华殿的办事人员，他们就雇了石匠和木匠，重建耶和华的殿，又雇了铁匠和铜匠，重建耶和华的殿。作工的人不住工作，重修的工程在他们手下顺利进行；他们把神的殿重建得和先前一样，并且非常坚固。他们完工以后，就把剩下的银子送到王和耶何耶大面前，用来制造耶和华殿里的器皿、供奉和献祭所用的器皿、盘子，以及各种金银器皿。耶何耶大在世的日子，众人都常在耶和华的殿里献燔祭。

所有的祭司都是天天站着事奉，多次献上同样的祭品，那些祭品永远不能把罪除去。
