耶和华对摩西说：“你要照着以色列人被数点的数目登记人数；你数点的时候，他们各人要为自己的性命把赎价归给耶和华，免得你数点的时候，他们中间有灾病。以下就是他们当缴纳的；凡是属于那些被数点的人的，每人要照着圣所的标准献银子六克；这六克银子是归给耶和华的礼物。这重量是圣所用的标准重量（“这重量是圣所用的标准重量”原文作“一舍客勒是二十季拉”）。凡是属于那些被数点的人，自二十岁以上的，要把礼物献给耶和华。富有的人不可多出，贫穷的也不可少出。各人要纳六克银子，作礼物献给耶和华，好为你们的性命作赎价。你要从以色列人收取这赎银，指定作会幕事奉的使用，好使它在耶和华面前为以色列人作个记念，也赎回你们的性命。”

你要把你的财物，和一切初熟的农作物，敬奉耶和华。

因为人要是有愿意作的心，按照他所有的，必蒙悦纳，不是按照他所没有的。

我立作石柱的那块石头，必作神的殿；你赐给我的一切，我必把十分之一献给你。”
