all these now join their fellow Israelites the nobles, and bind themselves with a curse and an oath to follow the Law of God given through Moses the servant of God and to obey carefully all the commands, regulations and decrees of the Lord our Lord.

All the men joined the nobles of their people. They made a firm agreement. They made a promise and said they would be cursed if they didn’t keep it. They promised to follow the Law of God. It had been given through Moses, the servant of God. They promised to obey carefully all the commands, rules and laws of the Lord our Lord.

我曾经起誓，我必信守诺言：我要遵行你公义的法令。

因为上帝拯救世人的恩典已经显明了，这恩典教导我们除掉不敬虔的心和世俗的私欲，在今世过自律、公义、敬畏上帝的生活，怀着美好的盼望等候耶稣基督——我们伟大的上帝和救主的荣耀显现。主耶稣为我们牺牲自己，要救赎我们脱离一切罪恶，并洁净我们，使我们做祂的子民，成为热心行善的人。

王站在柱旁，在耶和华面前立约，要全心全意地跟随耶和华，遵从祂的一切诫命、法度和律例，履行约书上的规定。民众都答应守约。

他们说：“我们会照你的话去做，把东西还给他们，不再向他们索债。”于是，我召来祭司，让这些人起誓遵守自己的诺言。我抖着衣服说：“如果你们不守誓言，愿上帝也这样抖掉你们的家园和你们劳碌得来的，使你们一无所有。”全体会众都说：“阿们！”他们赞美耶和华，民众都遵照誓言去行。

我要把我的灵放在你们里面，使你们恪守我的律例，谨遵我的典章。

你们如果照我的吩咐去做，就是我的朋友。

天亮后，犹太人设下阴谋，并起誓说：“不杀保罗，誓不吃喝！”有四十多人参与了这个阴谋。他们去见祭司长和长老，说：“我们已经发了誓，不杀保罗不吃饭。请你们和公会出面通知千夫长，请他把保罗押到你们这里来，就说要进一步审讯他。我们准备在他到达之前杀掉他！”

不过，也有人跟随保罗，信了耶稣，其中有亚略·巴古的会员丢尼修和一位名叫戴玛丽的妇人及其他人。

我们的主耶和华啊，你的名在地上何其尊贵！你的荣耀充满诸天。

耶和华必怜悯雅各，再次选择以色列人做祂的子民，把他们安置在他们自己的土地上。外族人必与他们联合，归入以色列。

摩西不是把律法传给了你们吗？你们却没有一个人遵守。为什么想要杀我呢？”

他到达后，看见上帝所赐的恩典，就万分高兴，劝勉他们要全心地忠于主。

凡不寻求以色列的上帝耶和华的，无论男女老幼，一律处死。他们高声向耶和华起誓，并吹响号角。

所以，你们要谨遵你们上帝耶和华的吩咐，不可偏离左右。

“你们要记住我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山借着他传给以色列人的律例和典章。

你不要答应他们，因为他们有四十多个人会埋伏在半路，并且还起誓说，‘不杀保罗就不吃不喝’。他们现在已经准备就绪，就等你答应了。”

祂这样做是要使他们持守祂的命令，遵行祂的律法。你们要赞美耶和华！

不可虚情假意地爱人。要疾恶如仇，一心向善。

摩西把所有的以色列人召来，对他们说：“以色列人啊，要留心听我今天对你们宣讲的律例和典章，要学习并谨慎遵行。

你要告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“如果你们不听从我的话，不遵行我赐给你们的律法，

‘凡雕刻或铸造耶和华所憎恶的神像，并偷偷供奉的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡不尊敬父母的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡挪移邻居界石的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡故意带领盲人走错路的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘不公正地对待寄居者和孤儿寡妇的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与父亲的妻妾乱伦，使父亲蒙羞的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与兽交合的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与同父或同母姊妹乱伦的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与岳母乱伦的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡暗杀邻居的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡因收受贿赂而杀害无辜的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡不遵行这律法的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’

以色列的上帝耶和华啊，你曾对你仆人——我父大卫说，‘若你的子孙像你一样谨慎行事，遵行我的律法，你的王朝就不会中断。’求你信守这应许。

为要接受你们的上帝耶和华与你们立的誓约。这样，祂今天将宣告你们是祂的子民、祂是你们的上帝，正如祂对你们的应许和对你们祖先亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的誓言。耶和华的这誓约不仅是与你们立的，

我就斥责他们，咒诅他们，打了他们其中一些人，又扯他们的头发，要他们奉上帝的名起誓不再让自己的子女与外族人通婚，自己也不娶外族女子。

但耶户没有全心全意地遵守以色列的上帝耶和华的律法，却重蹈耶罗波安的覆辙，使以色列人陷入罪中。

我们的主耶和华啊，你的名在地上何其尊贵！

因为律法是借着摩西颁布的，恩典和真理是借着耶稣基督赐下来的。

摩西将律法颁布给我们，作为雅各子孙的产业。
