We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses.

We’ve done some very evil things. We haven’t obeyed the commands, rules and laws you gave your servant Moses.

We have acted very corruptly against you and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, and the rules that you commanded your servant Moses.

We have sinned terribly by not obeying the commands, decrees, and regulations that you gave us through your servant Moses.

We have acted corruptly toward you and have not kept the commands, statutes, and ordinances you gave your servant Moses.

We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses.

I said,‘ You will certainly revere Me, You will accept discipline.’ So her dwelling will not be eliminated In accordance with everything that I have stipulated for her. Instead, they were eager to corrupt all their deeds.

“ Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you will live and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you.

“ See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you are to do these things in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.

Do your duty to the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His ordinances, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, so that you may succeed in all that you do and wherever you turn,

And admonished them in order to turn them back to Your Law. Yet they acted arrogantly and did not listen to Your commandments but sinned against Your ordinances, Which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them. And they turned a stubborn shoulder and stiffened their neck, and would not listen.However, You remained patient with them for many years, And admonished them by Your Spirit through Your prophets, Yet they would not listen. Therefore You handed them over to the peoples of the lands.Nevertheless, in Your great compassion You did not make an end of them or abandon them, For You are a gracious and compassionate God.“ Now then, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps His covenant and faithfulness, Do not let all the hardship seem insignificant before You, Which has happened to us, our kings, our leaders, our priests, our prophets, our fathers, and to all Your people, From the days of the kings of Assyria to this day.However, You are righteous in everything that has happened to us; For You have dealt faithfully, but we have acted wickedly.For our kings, our leaders, our priests, and our fathers have not kept Your Law Or paid attention to Your commandments and Your admonitions with which You have admonished them.But they, in their own kingdom, With Your great goodness which You gave them, With the broad and rich land which You placed before them, Did not serve You or turn from their evil deeds.

“ Remember the Law of Moses My servant, the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.

Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us; yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our wrongdoing and giving attention to Your truth.

They are deeply depraved As in the days of Gibeah; He will remember their guilt, He will punish their sins.

He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Uzziah had done; however he did not enter the temple of the Lord. But the people continued acting corruptly.

because His judgments are true and righteous; for He has judged the great prostitute who was corrupting the earth with her sexual immorality, and He has avenged the blood of His bond servants on her.”

However, he did not put their children to death, but did as it is written in the Law in the Book of Moses, which the Lord commanded, saying,“ Fathers shall not be put to death for sons, nor sons be put to death for fathers; but each shall be put to death for his own sin.”

Oh that my ways may be established To keep Your statutes!Then I will not be ashamed When I look at all Your commandments.I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.I will keep Your statutes; Do not utterly abandon me! Beth

and do not turn aside from any of the words which I am commanding you today, to the right or the left, to pursue other gods to serve them.“ But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

Now Moses summoned all Israel and said to them:“ Listen, Israel, to the statutes and ordinances which I am speaking today for you to hear, so that you may learn them and be careful to do them.

“ Now this is the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which the Lord your God has commanded me to teach you, so that you may do them in the land where you are going over to take possession of it,

Indeed, all Israel has violated Your Law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice; so the curse has gushed forth on us, along with the oath which is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.

These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the sons of Israel on Mount Sinai.

The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.

So this Ezra went up from Babylon, and he was a scribe skilled in the Law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given; and the king granted him all he requested because the hand of the Lord his God was upon him.
