我為爾僕、晨夕祈禱、求爾施恩於眾僕、以色列族願爾垂顧、冀爾俯聞、我與室人、及以色列族多獲罪愆、今於爾前、自言己過、

僕今為主之諸僕以色列人、晝夜所祈禱於主前、又認以色列人及我並我父家於主前所犯之罪、求主以目垂顧、側耳垂聽僕之祈禱、

let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you.

Please pay careful attention to my prayer. See how your people are suffering. Please listen to me. I’m praying to you day and night. I’m praying for the people of Israel. We Israelites have committed sins against you. All of us admit it. I and my family have also sinned against you.

我還在說話、還在禱告、承認我的罪、和我本國人民以色列的罪；我還在為我的上帝的聖山把懇求的話呈到我的上帝面前；

我向永恆主我的上帝祈禱認罪，說：『哦，主啊，至大、至可畏懼的上帝啊，向愛你守你誡命的人守約守堅愛的啊，

『我的上帝啊，現在願你的眼睜開着，願你的耳傾聽這聖地所獻上的禱告。

永恆主的眼向着義人，他的耳側向他們的呼救。

上帝揀選的人晝夜向他喊救，他縱然在他們的事上延持着，難道總不給他們伸冤麼？

因為我們列祖不忠實，行了永恆主我們的上帝所看為壞的事，離棄了他，轉臉不顧永恆主的居所，而以背向他。

我們和我們祖宗一同犯了罪；我們有了罪孽；我們行了惡。

如今我們的上帝啊，聽你僕人的禱告和懇求哦！主啊，為了你自己的緣故使你的臉光照你這荒涼的聖地吧！我的上帝啊，傾耳以聽，睜眼而看我們荒涼之地和這稱為你名下的城哦；因為我們把懇求的話呈到你面前、並不是靠着我們自己的義，乃是靠着你的大憐憫。

我說：『我有禍啦！我完啦！因為我是個嘴脣不潔淨的人，又住在嘴脣不潔淨的人民中，因為我親眼看見了大君王、萬軍之永恆主。』

以斯拉禱告、認罪、哭泣、俯伏在上帝殿前的時候，以色列中有很大羣的人男男女女、以及孩童、都集合了來到以斯拉那裏；眾民都哭泣，哭得很悲痛。

我們的祖宗犯了罪，而今不在了；他們罪罰之重擔由我們擔當。

就是我們從前也都在其中，在我們肉體的私慾裏起居，行肉體上、心神上所意願的，生來就是該受上帝義怒的兒女，像會外人一樣——。

永恆主我的上帝啊，我日間呼救，夜間在你面前哀呼。

晚上、早晨和中午、我都哀怨悲歎。他聽了我的聲音，

主啊，聽我的聲音哦！我懇求的聲音願你側耳、留心而聽。

活人為甚麼哀怨？人為甚麼因受的罪罰而發怨言呢？我們來檢討考查行徑，回歸永恆主吧。我們來獻心舉手向天上的上帝禱告吧：『我們悖逆背叛，你並不赦免呀。

『我設立掃羅為王、我後悔了，因為他退轉而不跟從我，不實行我吩咐的話。』撒母耳很着急，終夜向永恆主哀呼。

我的罪我讓你知道，我的罪孽我沒有掩蓋着；我說：『我要向永恆主承認我的過犯』；那麼你就赦免我罪的孽債。（細拉）

我們都像不潔淨的人，我們所有的義行都像染了經血的衣服；我們都像葉子漸漸凋殘；我們的罪孽像風、把我們帶走了。沒有人呼求你的名，沒有人奮發、抓住着你；因為你掩面不顧我們，已把我們送交於我們的罪罰權勢了。

就寡居、直到八十四歲。並沒有離開過殿；黑夜白日、用禁食和祈求來事奉。

我感謝上帝、我接續祖先、用潔淨良知所事奉的上帝；在祈禱中、我不住地惦念着你、

如今你們又心裏說要強迫猶大人和耶路撒冷人做你們的奴隸和婢女。這不是連你們也實實在在有得罪永恆主你們的上帝的罪麼？

永恆主我的上帝啊，求你垂顧你僕人的禱告懇求，聽你僕人今天在你面前所發的呼籲和禱告；願你的眼睜開着、晝夜看顧這殿，看顧你所說你的名要臨在的聖地；願你聽你僕人向這聖地所發的禱告。

說：『我的上帝啊，我抱愧蒙羞，不敢向我的上帝仰面，因為我們的罪愆多到滅頂，我們的罪過大到滔天。自從我們列祖的日子到今天、我們的罪過都很大；並且為了我們的罪愆的緣故，我們和我們的王、跟祭司、都被交於四圍各地的列王手中，交於刀劍之下，被擄掠、被搶奪、滿臉蒙羞，正如今日一樣。

那獨居無靠、真做寡婦的、是已把盼望釘住於上帝，而黑夜白日恆心不懈地祈求禱告的。

現在你們要向永恆主你們列祖的上帝認罪，遵行他所喜悅的，自己分別出來、脫離此地別族之民，脫離外籍的女人。』
