我觀看大山，它們盡都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。

那時大地搖撼震動，天的根基也都搖動；它們搖撼，是因為耶和華發怒。

諸山見你而顫抖，眾水暴流而過；深淵發聲，舉手高揚。

地就震動，在你面前天也落下雨來；這西奈山在神面前，就是在以色列的神面前，也要震動。

他的閃電照亮世界，大地看見了就戰慄。在耶和華面前，就是在全地的主面前，群山都像蠟一般融化。

願你裂天而降！（本節在《馬索拉文本》為63:19）願群山都在你面前震動！好像火燒著乾柴，又像火把水燒開，使你的敵人認識你的名，使列國在你面前發顫。（本節在《馬索拉文本》為64:1）

群山在耶和華面前震動；這西奈山在耶和華以色列的神面前也是這樣。

但現在的天地，還是因著同樣的話可以存留，直到不敬虔的人受審判和遭滅亡的日子，用火焚燒。親愛的，這一件事你們不可忘記：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。主決不耽延他的應許，像有些人以為他是耽延的一樣；其實他是寬容你們，不願有一人滅亡，卻願人人都悔改。但主的日子必要像賊一樣來到。在那日，天必轟然一聲地消失，所有元素都因烈火而融化；地和地上所有的，都要被燒毀（“被燒毀”有不少古抄本作“被發現”）。這一切既然都要這樣融化，你們應當怎樣為人，過著聖潔和敬虔的生活，等候並催促神的日子降臨呢？因為在那日，天要被火焚燒就融化了，所有元素都因烈火而融解！

忽然，地震得很厲害；主的使者從天上下來，把石頭輥開，坐在上面。

大山跳躍像公羊，小山蹦跳像小羊。

列邦喧嚷，萬國動搖；神一發聲，地就融化。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座，和坐在上面的那位。天地都從他面前逃避，再也看不見了。

耶和華的聲音震斷了香柏樹，耶和華震斷了黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩山跳躍像牛犢，使西連山跳躍像野牛犢。

因為萬軍之耶和華必有一日，要攻擊一切驕傲的、狂妄的，和所有高抬自己的，他們都要降卑。又要攻擊黎巴嫩所有高大的香柏樹，和巴珊所有的橡樹。又攻擊所有的高山，和所有的峻嶺；

願海和海中充滿的，都翻騰響鬧，願世界和住在世上的也都發聲；

忽然，聖所裡的幔子從上到下裂成兩半；地面震動，石頭崩裂；

西奈全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降臨到山上；山的煙向上升，好像火窯的煙一樣。全山猛烈震動。

大山啊！你們為甚麼跳躍像公羊？小山啊！你們為甚麼蹦跳像小羊？
