海水看见了就逃跑，约旦河也倒流。

使海洋深渊之水干涸的，使海洋深处变为道路，让救赎之民经过的，难道不是你吗？

是我对深渊说：‘干涸吧！我也要使流入你的江河枯干’；

为什么我来的时候，没有人在呢？为什么我呼唤的时候，没有人回应呢？难道我的手臂太短不能救赎吗？难道我没有能力解救吗？看哪！我发出斥责，使海洋干涸，使河流成为旷野；其中的鱼因无水而发臭，因干渴而死去。我使诸天以黑暗为衣服，以麻布为遮盖。”

耶稣对他们说：“为什么胆怯呢？你们这些小信的人哪！”耶稣就起来，斥责风和浪，湖面就变得一片平静。

海水啊，你为什么逃跑呢？约旦河啊，你为什么倒流呢？

你开辟泉源和溪流，也使常流的河干枯。

海里的水必枯干，大河必干涸枯竭，河道必发臭，埃及的河流必消减而干涸；芦苇和芦荻必凋萎，尼罗河边、尼罗河口的蒲草，以及沿着尼罗河所种的田都必枯竭，被风吹去，不复存在。渔夫必哀哭，尼罗河上所有垂钓的必悲恸，水面上撒网的也必衰颓。绩麻的和织白布的都必蒙羞，埃及的栋梁必被压碎，所有的雇工都必心里悲痛。
