The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.

密雲和幽暗在他的四圍，公義和公正是他寶座的根基。烈火行在他的面前，燒盡他四圍的敵人。他的閃電照亮世界，大地看見了就震撼。在耶和華面前，在全地之主面前，群山像蠟那樣熔化。

看哪！耶和華必在烈火中臨到，他的戰車好像旋風，為要在怒火中施行他憤怒的報應，在火焰中發出他的斥責；

耶和華必在他們上方顯現，他的箭矢射出如閃電；主耶和華必吹響號角，乘著南方的暴風前行。

有關埃及的默示：看哪，耶和華乘駕飛快的雲，即將臨到埃及！埃及的偶像將在他面前顫抖，埃及人都心融膽喪。

耶穌回答他，說：「你已經說了。不過我告訴你們：將來你們會看見人子坐在全能者的右邊，在天上的雲彩中來臨。」

神說了一次，我聽見了兩次：力量在於神！

那時大地搖撼、震動，群山的根基也顫抖、搖撼，因為他發怒了。濃煙從他的鼻孔上騰，吞噬的烈火從他口中而出，火炭也從他那裡燃起。他又使諸天下垂，親自降臨；他的腳下是幽深的黑暗。他乘駕基路伯飛翔，在風的翅膀上翱翔。他以黑暗作他的藏身處，以眾水的黑暗、天空的烏雲作他四周的帷幕。冰雹和火炭從他面前的光輝中而出，穿過了烏雲。耶和華在天上發出雷鳴，至高者發出他的聲音，伴隨著冰雹和火炭；他發出箭矢，使仇敵四散，發出眾多閃電，使他們潰亂。耶和華啊，你斥責一發，你鼻孔的氣一出，海底就出現，世界的根基也顯露。

當對神說：「你的作為多麼可畏！因你強大的能力，你的仇敵向你卑躬屈膝。

我們的神來臨，絕不沉默；烈火在他面前吞噬，暴風在他四圍颳起。

並且在我們這些相信之人的身上，照著他力量的權能作為，他能力的無限偉大到底是什麼。神曾將這能力運作在基督的身上，使基督從死人中復活，並且使他在天上坐在自己的右邊，

向耶和華禱告，說：「哦，耶和華啊！難道這不就是我還在本國時所說的那樣嗎？這正是我事先逃往塔爾施的原因，因為我知道：你是有恩惠、有憐憫的神，不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛，而且是施憐憫不降下災禍的那一位。

我在夜間的異象中繼續觀看，看哪，有一位像人子的，在天上的雲彩中來臨，被引領來到亙古永存者面前！

「看哪，他在雲彩中來臨，所有人的眼睛都將看見他，連那些刺他的人也將看見他；地上的萬族都要因他捶胸哀哭。」確實如此，阿們。
