尼尼微啊！耶和华已经向你下了命令：你的名字必不再传于后世；我必从你的神庙中，除掉雕刻和铸造的偶像；我必为你预备坟墓，因为你没有存在的价值。

耶和华已经出令，指着尼尼微说：“你名下的人必不留后；我必从你神的庙中除灭雕刻的偶像和铸造的偶像；我必因你鄙陋，使你归于坟墓。”

耶和华已经发命令，指着你说：“你的名下必不再留后；我要从你神明的庙中除灭雕刻的偶像和铸造的偶像，我必因你的卑贱，为你预备坟墓。”

耶和華論敵、發命曰、以爾名而稱者、不復繼傳、雕鑄之像、我將滅於爾神之室、爾乃卑陋、我為爾造墓矣、

耶和華有命、告爾尼尼微王云、爾祚不長、爾上帝之殿、木偶金像、毀之殆盡、爾誠卑鄙、必於斯殞亡、

惟爾尼尼微王、主已命定爾不留後傳名、必自爾神廟中、除滅雕刻之像及鑄像、我已為爾備墓、蓋爾甚為陋劣、

The Lord has given a command concerning you, Nineveh:“ You will have no descendants to bear your name. I will destroy the images and idols that are in the temple of your gods. I will prepare your grave, for you are vile.”

Nineveh, the Lord has given an order concerning you. He has said,“ You will not have any children to carry on your name. I will destroy the wooden and metal statues that are in the temple of your gods. I will get your grave ready for you. You are worthless.”

The Lord has given commandment about you:“ No more shall your name be perpetuated; from the house of your gods I will cut off the carved image and the metal image. I will make your grave, for you are vile.”

And this is what the Lord says concerning the Assyrians in Nineveh:“ You will have no more children to carry on your name. I will destroy all the idols in the temples of your gods. I am preparing a grave for you because you are despicable!”

The LORD has issued an order concerning you: There will be no offspring to carry on your name. I will eliminate the carved idol and cast image from the house of your gods; I will prepare your grave, for you are contemptible.

The Lord has issued a command concerning you:“ Your name will no longer be perpetuated. I will eliminate the carved image and the cast metal image From the house of your gods. I will prepare your grave, For you are contemptible.”

The Lord has given a command concerning you:“ Your name shall be perpetuated no longer. Out of the house of your gods I will cut off the carved image and the molded image. I will dig your grave, For you are vile.”

And Jehovah hath given commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image; I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

Yahweh has commanded concerning you:“ No more descendants will bear your name. Out of the house of your gods, I will cut off the engraved image and the molten image. I will make your grave, for you are vile.”

愿他的后人被除灭，愿他们的名字在下一代被涂抹。

义人的名必蒙称赞，恶人的名字却必腐朽。

彼勒俯伏，尼波弯腰；巴比伦人的偶像驮在走兽和牲口上。你们所抬的现在都成了重担，成了疲乏的牲畜身上的重负。它们一同弯腰、俯伏，不能保护重负，它们自己反倒被掳去了。

“亚述和它的军队都在那里；他们的坟墓在它周围；他们都是被杀死的，是倒在刀下的。他们的坟墓是放在坑中极深之处，亚述的众军都在它坟墓的周围，全是被杀死的，是倒在刀下的；他们曾使惊恐散布在活人之地。

一日，他正在他的神亚斯洛的庙中叩拜的时候，亚得米勒和沙利色用刀刺杀了他，然后逃到亚拉腊地。他的儿子以撒哈顿接续他作王。

我必从你中间除掉你雕刻的偶像和柱像，你就不再跪拜你手所做的；

我曾告诉他：‘我必按着他所知道的罪孽永远处罚他的家。这罪就是他的儿子自招咒诅，他也不责备他们。’

都因妓女多有淫行，施邪术的美丽女巫，藉着她的淫行诱惑列国，藉着她的邪术欺骗万族。万军之耶和华说：看哪！我必攻击你；我要把你的裙子掀到你的脸上，使万国看见你赤身露体，使列邦看见你的羞耻。我要把污秽可憎之物抛在你身上，侮辱你，使你成为众人观看的对象。

必另有一个卑鄙的人兴起来代替他；虽然人未曾把王国的尊荣给这人，这人却乘人不备的时候来到，用奉承的话夺得了王国。

求你作我避难的磐石，使我可以常来投靠；你已经下令救我，因为你是我的岩石、我的坚垒。

因为在那一夜我要走遍埃及地，把埃及地所有头生的，无论是人或是牲畜，都要杀掉；我也要审判埃及的一切神祇，我是耶和华。

“你们要在列国中传扬和宣告，要竖起旗帜宣扬，不可隐瞒，说：‘巴比伦被攻取了！彼勒蒙羞，米罗达惊慌；巴比伦的神像都蒙羞，它的偶像都惊慌。’

你必不得与别的君王同葬，因为你败坏了你的国，杀戮了你的人民；愿那些恶人的后裔永远不被人提说。因为他们的祖宗犯了罪孽，你们要为他的子孙预备屠杀之处；不要让他们兴起来，占有地土，在世上布满城镇。”万军之耶和华说：“我必兴起攻击他们，把巴比伦的名号、所剩余的人，以及后裔子孙，都一同剪除。”这是耶和华说的。

耶和华就差派一位使者，进入亚述王的军营中，把所有英勇的战士、官长和将帅，尽都消灭了。亚述王满面羞愧返回本国去了。他进入自己的神庙的时候，他亲生的儿子在那里用刀把他杀了。

关于埃及的默示：看哪！耶和华驾着轻快的云，来到埃及；埃及的偶像在他面前战兢，埃及人的心都惊怕。

我必毁坏你们的邱坛，砍倒你们的香坛，把你们的尸体扔在你们仆倒的偶像上面；我的心必厌弃你们。

远方的人哪！你们要听我所作的事；近处的人哪！你们要承认我的大能。”
