Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it’s good for us to be here. Let’s set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

Peter responded and* said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good that we are here; let’s make three tabernacles, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Then Peter answered and said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

And Peter answereth and saith to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Then Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it’s good for us to be here! Let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

So Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters– one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Peter answered Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

I am torn between the two. I long to depart and be with Christ— which is far better—

and there will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

The LORD answered Moses,“ I will do this very thing you have asked, for you have found favor with me, and I know you by name.”Then Moses said,“ Please, let me see your glory.”He said,“ I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim the name‘ the LORD’ before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”But he added,“ You cannot see my face, for humans cannot see me and live.”The LORD said,“ Here is a place near me. You are to stand on the rock,and when my glory passes by, I will put you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.Then I will take my hand away, and you will see my back, but my face will not be seen.”

Better a day in your courts than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than live in the tents of wicked people.

I also will love him and will reveal myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot) said to him,“ Lord, how is it you’re going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered,“ If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will never be shaken.How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you attack as if he were a leaning wall or a tottering fence?
