『凡使這些信的人的微小者之一絆跌的，假使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，丟在海裏，這對於他倒好呢。

“凡使这信我的一个小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，扔在海里。

“凡使这些信我的小子中的一个跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，扔在海里。

“凡使这些信我的小子中的一个跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，扔在海里。

“但若有人使这样一个小信徒失足犯罪，他的下场比把大磨石挂在他脖子上扔到海里还要惨。

“如果有人使一个信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如在他的颈项上拴一块大磨石投在海里。

“无论谁使信我的这些卑微人中的一个绊倒，对那人来说，脖子上拴着大磨石，被丢进海里反而更好。

「凡使這信我的一個小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裏。

「凡使這些信我的小子中的一個跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裏。

「凡使這些信我的小子中的一個跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裏。

「但若有人使這樣一個小信徒失足犯罪，他的下場比把大磨石掛在他脖子上扔到海裡還要慘。

“如果有人使一個信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如在他的頸項上拴一塊大磨石投在海裡。

「無論誰使信我的這些卑微人中的一個絆倒，對那人來說，脖子上拴著大磨石，被丟進海裡反而更好。

陷信我小子之一者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、投於海、

凡陷信我之小子於罪者、寧以磨石懸其頸、投於海之為美也、

凡使此信我之一小子、陷於罪者、寧以磨石懸其頸而投於海、

如有使信我之小子、失足而陷罪者、毋寧以磨石繫頸、而被投諸海乎？

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones— those who believe in me— to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.

“ What if someone leads one of these little ones who believe in me to sin? If they do, it would be better if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.

“ Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

“ But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around your neck.

“ But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to fall away— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

“ Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him if a heavy millstone is hung around his neck and he is thrown into the sea.

“ But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it were better for him if a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

“ But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

And whosoever shall offend one of[ these] little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a huge millstone tied around his neck and to be thrown into the sea.

Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.

凡使這些信我的微小者之一個絆跌的，就使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，沉在海洋裏，對於他還有益。

耶穌對他的門徒說：『要使絆跌的事不來、是不可能的；由他而來的、那人有禍啊！假使一塊磨石掛在他的脖子上，拋在海裏，這倒比他把這些微小者之一絆跌了還上算呢！

『你們要小心，不可輕看這些微小者之一個；我告訴你們，他們的守護天使在天上時常覲見我天上之父的面呢。

弟兄們，那些造成分立和絆跌事、背乎你們所學之教訓的人、我勸你們要注意提防他們。你們務要躲避他們；

他就仆倒在地上，聽見有聲音對他說：『掃羅，掃羅，你為甚麼逼迫我？』

倘若有人見你這「有知識的」在偶像廟裏坐席，他的良知若是軟弱，豈不是要「被建立起來！」去喫祭偶像之物麼？那軟弱的人、基督為他死的那弟兄、也就會因你的「知識」而失喪了！你們這樣犯罪害了弟兄、擊傷了他們的良知、便是犯罪敵對着基督了。所以食物若叫我的弟兄絆跌，我就永遠絕不喫肉，免得使我的弟兄絆跌。

許多人一味隨從他們的邪蕩，真理的路必因他們的緣故而受謗讟。

那時他必回答他們說：「我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既沒有作在這些最小之一個的身上，也就是沒有作在我身上了。這些人必往永世的刑罰裏去；那些義人呢、必往永世的生命裏去。」』

卻是像經上所記的：『沒有得傳告關於他的事的、必看見；沒有聽見過的、必曉悟。』

在各會堂裏、我屢次用刑，想法子強迫他們說褻瀆上帝的話。我對待他們、狂怒極了，甚至逼迫、直到國外的城市。『在作這些事的時候、我帶着祭司長的權柄和使命、往大馬色去。白天中午、王啊，我在路中看見一道光、比日頭還亮、從天上周圍照射着我、和跟我一同走路的人。我們都仆倒在地上，我就聽見有聲音用希伯來土話對我說：「掃羅，掃羅，你為甚麼逼迫我？你用腳跟踢犂棍是難的。」

所以我願年輕婦女結婚，生養兒女，治理家務，絕不給敵人有可辱罵的因由。

因為上帝所看為公義的就是：當主耶穌從天上同他有能力的天使在火燄中顯示出來時將患難報應那加患難給你們的人，而將鬆息還報你們、連同我們、受患難緊逼的人、

所以我們別再彼此論斷了；寧可決斷不給弟兄放下碰腳石或絆跌物。

在任何事上、對任何人、我們都沒有引起碰倒人的因由，免得這執事的職分受挑剔。

不拘對猶太人、對希利尼人、或對上帝的教會、你們都要不碰倒人才對；正如我一樣：我凡事都讓眾人喜歡，不逕求我自己的益處，只求多人的益處，使他們得救。

使你們能試驗甚麼是美好的事，好成為純潔而無過失的人，以待基督的日子，

他們曾流過聖徒和神言人們的血，你也把血給了他們喝；他們是該受的。』我聽見祭壇說：『是的，主上帝，全能者啊，你所判罰的真實啊！公義啊！』

羔羊揭開了第五個印的時候，我看見祭壇底下有那些為了上帝之道、為了他們所執守的見證、而被屠殺之人的靈魂。他們大聲喊着說：『聖而真的主宰啊，你不審判、而向住在地上的人伸我們流血的冤、要等到幾時呢？』
