言後八日、耶穌率伯鐸祿、若望雅谷伯登山祈禱。禱時、厥容頓改、厥衣潔白、而生輝；倏有二人、與耶穌語、是為摩西、伊理藹、顯現於榮光之中、共論耶穌將在耶路撒冷致命遂志之事。是時、伯鐸祿及其伴、昏昏欲睡比醒、則見耶穌光采煥發、二人與之同立。方二人將別、伯鐸祿謂耶穌曰：『夫子、吾儕在茲樂甚；容設三幄、一為爾、一為摩西、一為伊理藹。』伯鐸祿實不審其所言也。言猶未已、有彩雲一朵、蔭覆諸徒。諸徒身入雲中、不勝駭怖；有音發自雲間、曰：『斯吾聖子、吾所欣悅、爾曹其聽從之！』當斯音之發、惟見耶穌獨留、是時、諸徒猶謹守緘默、未以所見語人也。

閱六日、耶穌攜伯鐸祿雅各伯及弟若望、潛登高山、當前顯容、面耀如日、衣皓若雪。倏見摩西依理藹顯臨、與耶穌語。伯鐸祿謂耶穌曰：『主、我儕得盤桓於斯、不亦樂乎！子若願者、容建三幕、一為子、一為摩西、一為依理藹。』言未已、倏焉景雲覆之、有聲出自雲間曰：『斯吾愛子、慰悅我心、爾曹其聽從之。』徒聞之、偃仆戰慄、耶穌來撫之曰：『起、毋懼。』徒舉目仰視、惟見耶穌、更無他人。

耶穌禁眾同行、惟攜伯鐸祿雅谷伯暨弟若望與偕。

惟攜伯鐸祿雅谷伯若望與俱。時心緒惶惶、不勝憂悶、

嗣彼中二人前往田廬、耶穌改容顯現、

有彷彿人子者徘徊於其間、身披道袍、其長及足、胸束金帶、其首及髮均皜皜如綿、皎皎如雪、目如火焰、足亦發光、如銅在爐、聲如洪濤右手執七星、口吐雙鋒利劍、其容如中天之日。我見之、即殭仆其足前、渠以右手撫我曰：「毋懼、予乃無始之始、無終之終；

乃見一純白大寶座、至尊聖主坐焉；天地見之、逡巡而遁、無所自容。

操其統御萬有之大柄、而化吾人朽腐之身為神奇、俾克配其榮耀之體焉。

夫彼神也、與天主等齊而不居焉、乃屈尊紆貴、甘自為僕、而降生為人。其為人也、復謙之又謙、損之又損、惟天主之命是從；鞠躬盡瘁、死而後已、終至致命於十字架上。

予之第三次就爾、即在目前。證以二三人之口、言言足徵。

耶穌聞之、遂引去、乘舟潛往荒陬；眾聞其行、紛紛出城、徒步從之。

弗可閹然媚世、希俗取容；務求變化氣質、重建新心。蓋惟如此、方能體驗天主盡善盡美之聖意耳。

耶穌對曰：『依理藹固須先至、復興萬事；第予語爾、依理藹實已蒞臨、而人莫之識、且任意處之。人子之將罹橫逆、亦復如是。』至此諸徒乃悟耶穌所言、係指施洗如望。

夫以肅殺之文字、勒之於石、供其役者、且有盛極一時之殊榮、甚至摩西面上光采煥發、非義塞子孫所得而直視焉；則供聖神之役者、其榮更當何如！彼掌定罪之職者、尚且有榮、則參贊成道之事者、其榮將有不可思議者矣！舊時之所謂光榮者、今則如見大明而闇然無光矣。

彼時、耶穌登山祈禱、通宵求主。

道成人身。居我儕中。吾儕親睹。孔德之容。惟一聖子。無上光榮。妙寵真諦。充溢厥躬。

蓋吾儕所宣揚吾主耶穌基督之神德及其重臨、非據玄思妙構之稗乘、乃憑親炙目睹之威靈也。方其受天主聖父之尊榮也、有音發自赫赫天君、臨於其身曰：『斯吾愛子、慰悅吾心。』此音乃吾儕與彼同遊聖山時、親耳所聞、發自天上者也。
