Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and head across the lake to Bethsaida, while he sent the people home.

But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her. Then she got up and prepared a meal for him.

four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat.

paid a visit to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee. They said,“ Sir, we want to meet Jesus.”

and they ran throughout the whole area, carrying sick people on mats to wherever they heard he was.Wherever he went— in villages, cities, or the countryside— they brought the sick out to the marketplaces. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.

Then he touched their eyes and said,“ Because of your faith, it will happen.”

She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe.For she thought to herself,“ If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.

When the apostles returned, they told Jesus everything they had done. Then he slipped quietly away with them toward the town of Bethsaida.
