“虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！你们洗净杯盘的外面，里面却盛满了贪婪和放纵。

你们要洗净自己，停止作恶，不要让我再看见你们的恶行。

你们亲近上帝，上帝就必亲近你们。有罪的人啊，洗净你们的手吧！三心二意的人啊，洁净你们的心吧！

这位法利赛人看见耶稣饭前没有行犹太人洗手的礼仪，十分诧异。主对他说：“你们法利赛人洗净杯盘的外面，你们里面却充满了贪婪和邪恶。

那里有六口犹太人用来行洁净礼仪的石缸，每口可以盛约一百升水。

耶路撒冷啊，要洗去你内心的邪恶，这样你才能得救。你心怀恶念要到何时呢？

即使我用雪水净身，用碱水洗手，祂仍会把我扔进污坑，连我的衣服也嫌弃我。

如果我们生活在光明之中，像上帝在光明中一样，就能够彼此相交，上帝儿子耶稣的血能洗净我们一切的罪。

彼拉多见再说也无济于事，反而会引起骚乱，于是拿了一盆水来，在众人面前洗手，说：“流这义人的血，罪不在我，你们自己负责。”

耶和华啊，我洗手表明清白，再走到你的坛前，
