Bring the boy to me.”So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.Jesus asked the boy’s father,“ How long has he been like this?”“ From childhood,” he answered.“ It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”“‘ If you can’?” said Jesus.“ Everything is possible for one who believes.”

As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence.But Peter made him get up.“ Stand up,” he said,“ I am only a man myself.”

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me.But he said to me,“ Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”
