他们走近所要去的村子，耶稣好像还要往前走，

他或是半夜来，或是天亮之前来，看见仆人这样，那些仆人就有福了。

他独自铺张诸天，步行在海浪之上。

破晓时分，耶和华从云柱、火柱中瞭望埃及的军兵，使埃及的军兵混乱。

那时船已离岸好几里，因风不顺，被浪颠簸。

在水中立楼阁的栋梁，用云彩为车辇，藉着风的翅膀而行，

说：“看哪，我主，请你们转到仆人家里过夜，洗你们的脚，清早起来再上路。”他们说：“不！我们要在广场上过夜。”

第二日，扫罗把百姓分为三队，在清晨换岗哨的时候入侵亚扪人的军营，击杀他们直到中午的时候。逃脱的人都分散了，甚至没有两个人同在一起。

这些人不是从血生的，不是从情欲生的，也不是从人的意愿生的，而是从神生的。

那人说：“天快亮了，让我走吧！”雅各说：“你不给我祝福，我就不让你走。”

耶和华在高处大有威力，胜过诸水的响声，洋海的大浪。

你这受困苦、被暴风卷走、不得怜悯的城，看哪，我必以灰泥来做你的石头，以蓝宝石立你的根基，
