他們走近要去的村子，他好像還要往前行，

主人也許半夜之前，或天亮之前回來，看見他們這樣，這些僕人就有福了。

他獨自鋪開蒼天，步行在海浪之上；

到了晨更的時候，耶和華透過雲柱火柱向下觀看埃及人的軍兵，並且使埃及人的軍兵大起混亂。

那時門徒的船已經離岸數公里，因為逆風，被波浪沖擊。

你在水上立起你樓閣的棟梁；你以雲彩為戰車；乘駕風的翅膀而行。

說：“我主啊，請你們到僕人的家裡住一夜，洗洗你們的腳，清早起來再趕路。”他們回答：“不，我們要在街上過夜。”

第二天，掃羅把眾人分成三隊。在晨更的時候，他們進了亞捫人的營中，擊殺他們，直到中午；殘餘的人都星散了，他們中間沒有兩個人留在一起的。

他們不是從血統生的，不是從肉身的意思生的，也不是從人意生的，而是從神生的。

那人說：“天快亮了，讓我走吧。”雅各說：“如果你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。”

耶和華在高處大有能力，勝過大水的響聲，勝過海中的巨浪。

受困苦、被風飄蕩、不得安慰的啊！你看，我要用彩色的石頭安置你的基石，以藍寶石奠定你的根基。
