你們無論做什麼事、說什麼話，都要奉主耶穌的名而行，並藉著祂感謝父上帝。

上帝所造的一切都是美好的，若以感恩的心去領受，就無需任何禁忌，因為上帝的道和人的禱告可以使食物聖潔。

祂拿著那七個餅和幾條魚祝謝後，掰開，遞給門徒，門徒再分給大家。

後來有幾條從提比哩亞來的小船停泊在岸邊，靠近主祝謝後讓眾人吃餅的地方。

耶穌說完後，就抬頭望著天說：「父啊！時候到了，願你使你的兒子得榮耀，好讓你的兒子也使你得榮耀。

他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝謝後掰開分給門徒，說：「拿去吃吧，這是我的身體。」

所以，你們或吃或喝，無論做什麼，都要為上帝的榮耀而做。

於是，他們把石頭挪開，耶穌望著天說：「父啊，我感謝你，因為你已垂聽了我的禱告，

你們吃飽喝足後，要讚美你們的上帝耶和華，因為祂賜給你們那佳美之地。

守日子的人是為主而守，吃的人是為主而吃，因為他感謝上帝；不吃的人是為主不吃，他也同樣感謝上帝。

耶穌拿起餅來祝謝後，分給坐著的眾人，然後又照樣分魚，眾人可以隨意吃。

保羅說完後拿起餅，當眾感謝上帝，然後掰開吃。
