But Jesus answered,“ You give them something to eat.” They said to him,“ That would take more than half a year’s pay! Should we go and spend that much on bread? Are we supposed to feed them?”

耶稣回答他们说：“你们给他们吃吧！”门徒对他说：“我们要拿两百个银币去买饼给他们吃吗？”

耶稣说：“你们给他们吃的吧。”门徒说：“我们哪来这么多钱买东西给他们吃啊？”

耶稣回答他们：“你们给他们吃吧！”门徒说：“要我们去买两百银币的饼给他们吃吗？”

但耶稣回答他们，说：“你们给他们吃的吧。”门徒们说：“要我们去买两百个银币的饼给他们吃吗？”

耶穌回答說：「你們給他們吃吧。」門徒說：「我們可以去買二十兩銀子的餅給他們吃嗎？」

耶穌回答他們說：「你們給他們吃吧！」門徒對他說：「我們要拿兩百個銀幣去買餅給他們吃嗎？」

耶穌回答他們說：「你們給他們吃吧！」門徒對他說：「我們要拿兩百個銀幣去買餅給他們吃嗎？」

耶穌說：「你們給他們吃的吧。」門徒說：「我們哪來這麼多錢買東西給他們吃啊？」

耶穌回答他們：“你們給他們吃吧！”門徒說：“要我們去買兩百銀幣的餅給他們吃嗎？”

耶穌回答他們說：『你們、給他們喫。』他們對他說：『我們要去買二百日工錢的餅，給他們喫麼？』

但耶穌回答他們，說：「你們給他們吃的吧。」門徒們說：「要我們去買兩百個銀幣的餅給他們吃嗎？」

耶穌曰、爾其食之、對曰、得毋以二十金往而市餅、以食之乎、

耶穌曰、爾與之食、可也、曰、得毋謂我以金二十市餅、與之食乎、

耶穌答曰、爾可予之食、對曰、然則我往以二百第拿流、約銀二十兩市餅予之食乎、

耶穌曰：『爾當食之。』門徒曰：『豈欲吾人購餅二十金以食之乎？』

But Jesus said,“ You feed them.”“ With what?” they asked.“ We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!”

“ You give them something to eat,” he responded. They said to him,“ Should we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”

But He answered them,“ You give them something to eat!” And they* said to Him,“ Shall we go and spend two hundred denarii on bread, and give it to them to eat?”

But He answered and said to them,“ You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him,“ Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”

But he answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred shillings’ worth of bread, and give them to eat?

“ You give them something to eat,” He responded. They said to Him,“ Should we go and buy 200 denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”

He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?

But he answered them,“ You give them something to eat.” And they said,“ Should we go and buy bread for two hundred silver coins and give it to them to eat?”

But he answered them,“ You give them something to eat.” They asked him,“ Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread, and give them something to eat?”

A man came from Baal Shalishah. He brought the man of God 20 loaves of barley bread. They had been baked from the first grain that had ripened. The man also brought some heads of new grain.“ Give this food to the people to eat,” Elisha said.“ How can I put this in front of 100 men?” his servant asked. But Elisha answered,“ Give it to the people to eat. Do it because the Lord says,‘ They will eat and have some left over.’ ”Then the servant put the food in front of them. They ate it and had some left over. It happened just as the Lord had said it would.

Where can I get meat for all these people? They keep crying out to me. They say,‘ Give us meat to eat!’

“ I feel deep concern for these people. They have already been with me three days. They don’t have anything to eat.If I send them away hungry, they will become too weak on their way home. Some of them have come from far away.”

Jesus replied,“ You give them something to eat.” The disciples answered,“ We have only five loaves of bread and two fish. We would have to go and buy food for all this crowd.”

The Jewish Passover Feast was near.Jesus looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward him. So he said to Philip,“ Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?”He asked this only to test Philip. He already knew what he was going to do.Philip answered him,“ Suppose we were able to buy enough bread for each person to have just a bite. That would take more than half a year’s pay!”Another of his disciples spoke up. It was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He said,“ Here is a boy with five small loaves of barley bread. He also has two small fish. But how far will that go in such a large crowd?”Jesus said,“ Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down. About 5,000 men were there.

The king was leaning on an officer’s arm. The officer spoke to the man of God. The officer said,“ Suppose the Lord opens the sky and pours down food on us. Even if he does, could what you are saying really happen?”“ You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha.“ But you won’t eat any of it!”

Jesus replied,“ They don’t need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

But Moses said to the Lord,“ Here I am among 600,000 men on the march. And you say,‘ I will give them meat to eat for a whole month’!Would they have enough if flocks and herds were killed for them? Would they have enough even if all the fish in the ocean were caught for them?”The Lord answered Moses,“ Am I not strong enough? Now you will see whether what I say will come true for you.”

Then Jesus called for his disciples to come to him. He said,“ I feel deep concern for these people. They have already been with me three days. They don’t have anything to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry. If I do, they will become too weak on their way home.”His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where could we get enough bread to feed this large crowd?”
