And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them,“ Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Herod said,“ John I have beheaded, but who is this of whom I hear such things?” So he sought to see Him.

saying,“ I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” And they said,“ What is that to us? You see to it!”

and in the vine were three branches; it was as though it budded, its blossoms shot forth, and its clusters brought forth ripe grapes.Then Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand.”

and said to his servants,“ This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him.”

There they are in great fear Where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, Because God has despised them.
