He pleaded earnestly with him,“ My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.”

Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God!

As the sun went down that evening, people throughout the village brought sick family members to Jesus. No matter what their diseases were, the touch of his hand healed every one.

They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

As it happened, Publius’s father was ill with fever and dysentery. Paul went in and prayed for him, and laying his hands on him, he healed him.

A deaf man with a speech impediment was brought to him, and the people begged Jesus to lay his hands on the man to heal him.

And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil.

“ Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.

Jesus reached out and touched him.“ I am willing,” he said.“ Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.

At that time the highly valued slave of a Roman officer was sick and near death.When the officer heard about Jesus, he sent some respected Jewish elders to ask him to come and heal his slave.

After Nathan returned to his home, the Lord sent a deadly illness to the child of David and Uriah’s wife.David begged God to spare the child. He went without food and lay all night on the bare ground.

A funeral procession was coming out as he approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow’s only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her.

But Naaman became angry and stalked away.“ I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said.“ I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the Lord his God and heal me!

And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them.And he was amazed at their unbelief. Then Jesus went from village to village, teaching the people.

“ How long has this been happening?” Jesus asked the boy’s father. He replied,“ Since he was a little boy.The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.”

Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

After leaving the synagogue that day, Jesus went to Simon’s home, where he found Simon’s mother in law very sick with a high fever.“ Please heal her,” everyone begged.

These seven were presented to the apostles, who prayed for them as they laid their hands on them.

So the two sisters sent a message to Jesus telling him,“ Lord, your dear friend is very sick.”

So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
