The demons begged Jesus,“ Send us among the pigs. Let us go into them.”

鬼就央求耶稣说：“求你打发我们往猪群里，附着猪去。”

污灵就央求耶稣，说：“求你打发我们进入猪群，好附着它们。”

污鬼就哀求耶稣说：“让我们到猪群里去，附在它们身上吧！”

污灵求耶稣说：“打发我们到猪群那里附在猪身上吧。”

那些污灵就央求耶稣，说：“求你打发我们到猪群里，好让我们进入猪里面去吧！”

鬼就央求耶穌說：「求你打發我們往豬羣裏，附着豬去。」

污靈就央求耶穌，說：「求你打發我們進入豬羣，好附着牠們。」

那些汙靈就央求耶穌，說：「求你打發我們到豬群裡，好讓我們進入豬裡面去吧！」

眾鬼求曰、使我入附於豕、

眾鬼求曰、容我入豕群、

眾魔求曰、容我入豕群而附之、

魔因乞曰：『縱我入豕群可乎。』

The demons begged Jesus,“ Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.”

and they begged him, saying,“ Send us to the pigs; let us enter them.”

“ Send us into those pigs,” the spirits begged.“ Let us enter them.”

So all the demons begged Him, saying,“ Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.”

And they besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

We don’t want Satan to outsmart us. We know how he does his evil work.

Be watchful and control yourselves. Your enemy the devil is like a roaring lion. He prowls around looking for someone to swallow up.

But now reach out your hand and strike his flesh and bones. Then I’m sure he will speak evil things against you. In fact, he’ll do it right in front of you.”

Haven’t you guarded him and his family? Haven’t you taken care of everything he has? You have blessed everything he does. His flocks and herds are spread all through the land.But now reach out your hand and strike down everything he has. Then I’m sure he will speak evil things against you. In fact, he’ll do it right in front of you.”The Lord said to Satan,“ All right. I am handing everything he has over to you. But do not touch the man himself.” Then Satan left the Lord and went on his way.

“ Simon, Simon! Satan has asked to sift all of you disciples like wheat.But I have prayed for you, Simon. I have prayed that your faith will not fail. When you have turned back, help your brothers to be strong.”
