以便你们行事为人对得起主，凡事蒙祂喜悦，在一切良善的事上结出果实，对上帝的认识不断增加。

你们要常在我里面，我就常在你们里面。枝子若离开葡萄树，就不能结果子。同样，你们若不常在我里面，也不能结果子。“我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，他就会多结果子，因为你们离开了我什么都不能做。

不是你们拣选了我，而是我拣选了你们，并且派你们出去结永存的果子。这样，你们奉我的名无论向父求什么，祂都会赐给你们。

最后，弟兄姊妹，既然你们领受了我们的教导，知道怎样行才能讨上帝的喜悦，如你们现在所行的，我们靠着主耶稣恳求、劝勉你们要更加努力。

如果充分具备了这些品德，你们对我们主耶稣基督的认识就不会停滞不前，毫无收获。

并靠着耶稣基督结满仁义的果子，使上帝得到荣耀与颂赞。

我的弟兄姊妹，同样，你们借着基督的身体向着律法也死了，使你们可以归于那位从死里复活的基督，好为上帝结果子。

但圣灵所结的果子是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制。没有律法会禁止这些事。

以撒在那里耕种，耶和华赐福给他，那一年他得了百倍的收成。
