總之、望爾等托主之庇、賴其神力、發憤自強、而自充以剛毅之氣也。務以天主之全副武裝自被、以應付魔鬼之戰略。蓋吾人之對敵、非區區血氣之屬、乃諸品惡神、黑暗世界之權威領袖以及充塞雲霄之眾魔也。因是之故、惟執有天主之全副武器、足以自全於危難之日、且於勝利之後、尚能屹立不搖、而遊刃有餘也。

夫人亦安能貿然入強者之室、而掠其貨乎？必先縛強者、然後可掠其室也。

夫壯士戎裝整備、以守其宅、則其財富、賴以無恙。倘有較強者、襲而勝之、則盡奪其所恃之武器、而分其貲矣。凡不向我者、即係背我；不與我聚斂者、即自消散。

又見一天神手執深壑之管籥、及一大鐵索、自天而降；執龍而縛之。龍者、即古昔之蛇、亦名妖魔沙殫。至是縛之千載、投之深壑、封而緘之、使於千載之內無得迷惑萬國、後當暫釋。

未既、七十二人欣然而返、報曰：『緣主之名、鬼魔亦受制於吾儕矣！』主曰：『曩者予親睹沙殫如閃電自天而隕。識之哉！予已授爾以權能、俾爾蹂踐蛇蝎、降伏邪魔、所向莫之能害。第勿以鬼神服爾為喜、應以爾名書於天上自慶也。』

斯世受判、斯世之君見逐、今其時矣！

願平安之天主、速將沙殫紛糜於爾等之足下！更願吾主耶穌基督之聖寵、恆與爾偕！

時天上發生大戰、彌厄爾率領所屬天神、出與龍戰；龍亦率其天神與之交綏。不克、從此天上不復有若輩立足之地。於是巨龍下墜；巨龍者、即古時、之蛇、名曰妖魔、沙殫、熒惑全世者是；彼與其天神、俱被逐至地。

於以解除群魔之武裝、揭其慘敗、而慶聖架之凱旋。

眾子既具血肉之體、聖子亦曾具血肉之體；其所以然者、乃欲通過死亡之關以滅彼掌握死權之沙殫、
