耶穌曰、爾未讀大衛與從者匱而飢時所為乎、

耶穌曰、經載大衛及從者乏食、饑時所行之事、爾未讀之乎、

對曰：『經載大維及從者飢時所為事、爾豈未寓目耶？

He answered,“ Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?

He answered,“ Haven’t you ever read about what David did? He and his men were hungry. They needed food.

现在你手中有什么？求你给我五个饼，或是别的食物。”祭司回答大卫：“我手中没有普通的饼，只有圣饼。只有那些没有亲近过女人的年轻人，才可以吃的。”大卫回答祭司说：“像以往我出征的时候一样，这次我们出征前，确实没有亲近女人。虽然这是一次普通的任务，众仆人的器皿还是清洁的，何况今天这些器皿更加是清洁的。”于是祭司把圣饼给他，因为在那里没有别的饼，只有陈设饼，就是那些刚从耶和华面前拿下来，为要换上热的。

耶稣对他说：“律法上写的是什么？你怎么念的呢？”

对耶稣说：“你听见他们说什么吗？”耶稣说：“我听见了。‘你从小孩和婴儿的口中，得着了赞美。’这话你们没有念过吗？”

耶稣对他们说：“经上记着：‘建筑工人所弃的石头，成了房角的主要石头；这是主所作的，在我们眼中看为希奇。’这话你们没有念过吗？

他回答：“造物者从起初‘造人的时候，就造男造女’。‘因此人要离开父母，与妻子连合，二人成为一体。’这些话你们没有念过吗？

关于死人复活的事，摩西的经卷中荆棘篇上，神怎样对他说：‘我是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神’，你们没有念过吗？
