As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.

Then, moving on, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and He said to him,“ Follow Me!” So he got up and followed Him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the[ son] of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

As he went along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax booth.“ Follow me,” he said to him. And he got up and followed him.

After these things he went out, and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and said to him,“ Follow me!”He left everything, and rose up and followed him.Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.Their scribes and the Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying,“ Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”Jesus answered them,“ Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Simon, who was called the Zealot;

He said to them,“ Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”They immediately left their nets and followed him.Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them.They immediately left the boat and their father, and followed him.

Andrew; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot;

As Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him,“ Follow me.” He got up and followed him.As he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples,“ Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”When Jesus heard it, he said to them,“ Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.But you go and learn what this means:‘ I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Jesus said to them,“ Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men.”Immediately they left their nets, and followed him.Going on a little further from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.Immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.

When they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were staying; that is Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.
