But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere.

As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew sitting in the tax collector’s office; and He* said to him,“ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

Again He began to teach by the sea. And such a very large crowd gathered to Him that He got into a boat on the sea and sat down; and the whole crowd was by the sea on the land.

On that day Jesus had gone out of the house and was sitting by the sea.

and yet they could not find anything that they might do, for all the people were hanging on to every word He said.

Jesus withdrew to the sea with His disciples; and a large multitude from Galilee followed, and also from Judea,and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of Tyre and Sidon, a great number of people heard about everything that He was doing and came to Him.

And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer space, not even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them.

And He* came home, and the crowd* gathered again, to such an extent that they could not even eat a meal.And when His own people heard about this, they came out to take custody of Him; for they were saying,“ He has lost His senses.”

Wisdom shouts in the street, She raises her voice in the public square;At the head of the noisy streets she cries out; At the entrance of the gates in the city she declares her sayings:“ How long, you naive ones, will you love simplistic thinking? And how long will scoffers delight themselves in scoffing And fools hate knowledge?

And all the people would get up very early in the morning to come to Him in the temple to listen to Him.
