他们又惊又怕，以为是看见了鬼魂。

便离开墓地回去把事情的经过告诉十一个使徒和其他人。这些妇女就是抹大拉的玛丽亚、约亚娜、雅各的母亲玛丽亚及其他人。大家听了都不相信，认为是无稽之谈。

钱袋、背包和鞋都不要带，在路上也不要与人寒暄。

我们当中有几位妇女一早到耶稣的坟墓，发现耶稣的遗体不见了，回来说天使曾向她们显现并告诉她们耶稣已经复活了。“后来我们有几个人亲自去坟墓察看，果然像她们所说的，耶稣的遗体不见了。”

以利沙吩咐基哈西：“你要束上腰带，拿着我的杖去她家。路上不论遇见谁，都不要问候他。有人问候你，也不要作答。去把我的杖放在孩子脸上。”
