有人且從而唾其面、蒙其目、揮拳而擊之曰：『可以預言矣！』諸僕更批其頰。

Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said,“ Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.

他們就吐唾沫在他臉上，用拳頭打他，也有打他耳光的，說：「基督啊，向我們說預言吧！打你的是誰？」

人打我的背，我任他打；人拔我兩頰的鬍鬚，我由他拔；人侮辱我，向我吐唾沫，我並不掩面。

他們又拿一根蘆葦稈打他的頭，向他吐唾沫，屈膝拜他。

亞拿尼亞大祭司就吩咐旁邊站着的人打他的嘴。

又走到他面前，說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」他們就打他耳光。

看守耶穌的人戲弄他，打他，又蒙着他的眼，問他：「你說預言吧！打你的是誰？」

耶穌說了這些話，旁邊站着的一個警衛打了他一耳光，說：「你這樣回答大祭司嗎？」

他們要戲弄他，向他吐唾沫，鞭打他，殺害他；三天後，他要復活。」

耶和華對摩西說：「她父親若吐唾沫在她臉上，她豈不蒙羞七天嗎？現在要把她隔離在營外七天，然後才領她回來。」

仰望我們信心的創始成終者耶穌，他因那擺在前面的喜樂，輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，如今已坐在神寶座的右邊。

他被藐視，被人厭棄；多受痛苦，常經憂患。他被藐視，好像被人掩面不看的一樣，我們也不尊重他。

王從御花園回到酒席廳，見哈曼伏在以斯帖所靠的榻上；王說：「他竟敢在宮內、在我面前凌辱王后嗎？」這話一出王口，哈曼的臉就被蒙住了。

他們厭惡我，躲避我，不住地吐唾沫在我臉上。

許多人因他驚奇－他的面貌比別人憔悴，他的外表比世人枯槁－

成羣的民哪，現在要聚集成隊；仇敵前來圍攻我們，要用杖擊打以色列領袖的臉頰。
