耶穌曰：『聽之、毋阻！渠所加於吾身者、美事也。

But Jesus said,“ Let her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for Me.

But Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

Then Jesus said,“ Leave her alone. Why are you bothering her? She has done a noble thing for Me.

But Jesus, aware of this, said to them,“ Why are you bothering the woman? For she has done a good deed for Me.

For it is not the one who commends himself that is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.

No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.

in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified,

And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;

comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.

having a reputation for good works; and if she has brought up children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints’ feet, if she has assisted those in distress, and if she has devoted herself to every good work.

It came about after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite,“ My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is trustworthy, as My servant Job has.Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and My servant Job will pray for you. For I will accept him so as not to do with you as your foolishness deserves, because you have not spoken of Me what is trustworthy, as My servant Job has.”

This statement is trustworthy; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and beneficial for people.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be an implement for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds,

so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unproductive.

Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God on the day of visitation.

Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.

Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha( which when translated means Dorcas); this woman was excelling in acts of kindness and charity which she did habitually.

Jesus replied to them,“ I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?”The Jews answered Him,“ We are not stoning You for a good work, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”
