You have taken away my companions and loved ones. Darkness is my closest friend.

My loved ones and friends stay away, fearing my disease. Even my own family stands at a distance.

The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them.

Your anger weighs me down; with wave after wave you have engulfed me. InterludeYou have driven my friends away by making me repulsive to them. I am in a trap with no way of escape.

“ I have been treading the winepress alone; no one was there to help me. In my anger I have trampled my enemies as if they were grapes. In my fury I have trampled my foes. Their blood has stained my clothes.

“ My relatives stay far away, and my friends have turned against me.My family is gone, and my close friends have forgotten me.
