若主不稍減其日、則無有得救者、惟為所選之民、是日其稍減耳、

若不是主减少那日子，凡有血气的，总没有一个得救的；只是为主的选民，他将那日子减少了。

耶和華又曰、葡萄成纍、可釀新酒、人皆曰、葡萄之中、汁漿嘉美、勿壞之、予也眷顧我僕、不忍殲滅、亦此意耳。必使雅各子孫、猶大遺民、有我山岡、我之選民必得斯、我之臣僕必居斯、

斯時不稍減其日、則無得救者、蓋為所選之民、此日可稍減耳、

以福音論之、以色列人見棄、為爾曹利、以選擇言之、以色列人見愛、念列祖故也、夫上帝恩賜、召人不易、昔爾曹不信上帝、今轉緣以色列人之不信、而蒙矜恤、是則以色列人雖不信、亦緣爾之得矜恤、而得矜恤矣、上帝藩萬人於不信之中者、特欲矜恤眾耳、

耶和華曰、斯土眾庶、三分之二、必遭殞亡、三分之一、猶可得生、我將使三分之一、若投於烈焰之中、煉之若銀、試之若金、彼籲於上、而我垂聽、稱彼為我民、彼必曰、耶和華乃我上帝。

其中居民、尚存什一、屢遭喪敗、譬彼橡樹、雖經斬伐、猶留其幹、為善之人亦若是。

若彼撥者、不終於不信、亦必見接、蓋上帝能接之也、爾本野欖、矯揉接於真欖、況本然橄欖、復接橄欖乎、

今猶有幾人、乃上帝垂恩遴選者、以恩則不以功、否、則恩不為恩、以功則不以恩、否、則功不為功、曰、然則以色列人所求者、有不得乎、曰、選民得之、其餘則頑也、

民曰、如萬有之主耶和華、不俾我眾猶有孑遺、則必若所多馬、蛾摩拉矣。
