論到他兒子－我主耶穌基督，按肉體說，是從大衛後裔生的；按神聖的靈說，因從死人中復活，用大能顯明他是神的兒子。

就是盲人看見，瘸子行走，痲瘋病人得潔淨，聾子聽見，死人復活，窮人聽到福音。

有一大羣猶太人知道耶穌在那裏，就來了，不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看耶穌使他從死人中復活的拉撒路。

警衛回答：「從來沒有像他這樣說話的！」於是法利賽人說：「你們也受了迷惑嗎？難道官長或法利賽人中有信他的嗎？但這些不明白律法的眾人是被詛咒的！」

敬虔的奧祕是公認為偉大的：神在肉身顯現，被聖靈稱義，被天使看見，被傳於外邦，被世人信服，被接在榮耀裏。

眾百姓清早上聖殿，到耶穌那裏聽他講道。

他們想要捉拿他，但是懼怕眾人，因為眾人認為他是先知。

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你把這些事向聰明智慧的人隱藏起來，而向嬰孩啟示出來。

「我－耶穌差遣我的使者，為了眾教會向你們證明這些事。我是大衛的根，是他的後裔；我是明亮的晨星。」

「必有童女懷孕生子；人要稱他的名為以馬內利。」（以馬內利翻出來就是「神與我們同在」。）

但找不出方法來，因為百姓都側耳聽他。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，使他們在信心上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

列祖是他們的，基督按肉體說也是從他們出來的。願在萬有之上的神被稱頌，直到永遠。阿們！
