So Jesus asked this question as He taught in the temple complex,“ How can the scribes say that the Messiah is the Son of David?

While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he said,“ How is it that the experts in the law say that the Christ is David’s son?

这时候，耶稣对那群人说：“你们带着刀剑和棍棒出来抓我，就像对付强盗那样吗？我天天坐在圣殿里教导人，你们并没有抓我。

耶稣白天在圣殿里教导人，夜间出去到那叫做“橄榄园”的山里过夜。

经上不是说，基督是大卫的后裔，是出自大卫的故乡伯利恒吗？”

耶稣回答他：“我一向公开地对世人讲话。我总是在会堂和圣殿，就是所有犹太人聚集的地方教导人。我没有在隐秘中讲过什么。

耶稣从那里往前走，有两个瞎眼的跟着他，呼叫说：“大卫的后裔，可怜我们吧！”

耶稣天天在圣殿里教导人。祭司长们、经文士们和民间的首领们想要杀害他，

法利赛人聚集在一起的时候，耶稣问他们说：“关于基督，你们怎么看？他是谁的后裔呢？”他们说：“是大卫的后裔。”耶稣问他们：“那么，大卫藉着圣灵，怎么还称他为‘主’呢？大卫说：‘主对我主说：你坐在我的右边，等我把你的敌人放在你的脚下。’“因此，大卫如果称基督为‘主’，基督怎么会是大卫的后裔呢？”

他们又来到耶路撒冷。当耶稣在圣殿里行走的时候，祭司长们、经文士们和长老们来到他那里。

就在那些日子里，有一天耶稣在圣殿里教导民众、传福音的时候，祭司长们、经文士们和长老们一起上前来，
