Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

So I tell you, when you pray for something, believe that you have already received it. Then it will be yours.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

“ Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

“ So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

“ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.“ These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you;for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,saying:“ There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man.Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying,‘ Get justice for me from my adversary.’And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself,‘ Though I do not fear God nor regard man,yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”Then the Lord said,“ Hear what the unjust judge said.And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
