如是爾今憂、我復將見爾、爾心則樂、且爾之樂、無人能奪之、當斯日爾曹無所問於我、我誠告爾、凡爾託我名求於父者、父必賜爾、

受艱難之試而能忍者福矣、因歷試之後、必得永生之冕、即主所許愛己者、

我勸爾向我市火煉之金、使爾致富、又購白衣衣之、使可免裸身之恥、又求膏膏爾目、使爾得見、

不第此也、亦以患難為樂、以患難為樂或作因患難而誇因知患難生忍耐、

使徒離公會前、皆喜、以其堪為耶穌名受辱也、

天主能以諸恩廣施於爾、使爾凡事恆足、可多行諸善、如經載云、彼散財濟貧、其義永存、天主賜種於播者、賜糧於食者、願其賜爾多種以播、增爾行義之果、賜爾凡事富足、得以博施、我集而散之、使受之者謝天主、

我知爾之作為、爾之患難、爾之窮乏、而實富有、自稱為猶太人、實非猶太人、乃屬撒但會者、其謗言我亦知之、

以言攻人子者、猶可赦之、惟以言攻聖神者、今世來世、永不得赦也、

可愛者乎、爾今遇火鍊試爾、勿異之以為遭非常之事、反當喜樂、因與基督共受苦也、使爾於其榮光顯現之時、亦可歡欣踴躍、爾為基督之名被詬、則為有福、因天主榮光之神、賦畀爾、賦畀爾原文作止於爾上基督為彼所謗讟、為爾所讚榮、有原文抄本無此二句爾中有人受苦、切勿因兇殺、偷竊、行惡、滋事而受苦、若緣為基督徒而受苦、則勿羞愧、當因此歸榮於天主、

爾當先求天主國與其義、則此諸物、必加於爾也、

兄弟乎、爾遇諸艱難之試、當以為樂、因知試爾信之艱難、能生忍耐、惟當使忍耐成功、致爾全備無缺、

然虔敬若兼知足、是大益也、

萬有之主曰、爾以所當納之什一、悉入於倉庫、使我室有糧、以是試我、觀我果否觀我果否或作待我為爾啟天之窗、使福傾注於爾曹、豐盈富餘、不可勝數、不可勝數原文作致無處足以容之

亞瑪謝謂神人曰、我已予以色列軍銀一百他連得、將若何、神人曰、主能以多於此者賜爾、

人為我而詬詈爾、窘逐爾、造諸惡言、誹謗爾、則爾福矣、當欣喜歡樂、因在天爾之賞大也、蓋先爾諸先知、人亦曾如是窘逐之也、○

天國又如寶、藏於田、人遇之、則秘之、喜而歸、售其所有以購此田、○天國又如商人求美珠、遇一珠、值昂貴、遂往售其所有以購之、○

主所許我者、永生也、

能忍者、我儕以為有福、爾曹聞約百之忍、亦知主賜其終境如何、蓋主最仁慈施憐憫、○
