慎毋蔑視一介小子；蓋吾語爾、若輩之守護天神、在天常得瞻仰吾父之聖顏焉。

我心如小鳥。毛羽未全豐。不作高飛想。依依幽谷中。我心如赤子。乳臭未曾乾。慈母懷中睡。安恬凝一團。

人有攜嬰兒而至者、求耶穌撫之、弟子見而斥焉。耶穌招之曰：『容嬰兒近予、莫之阻也！蓋天主之國、惟若輩是屬耳。

當如新生之嬰、一心愛慕純粹乳汁、日漸月漬、涵養心靈、以邀救恩。

故惟自謙自小若此孩者、斯天國中之大人也。

莫忘幼承慈訓、素諳經籍。凡經籍所載、莫非令人醒悟、信仰基督耶穌、以自求多福耳。

即偶有所怒、亦當勉自克制、慎毋犯罪。切勿銜怒終日、

爾曹乃先知之後；天主與我祖立約、亦為爾曹。

厥徒雅谷伯若望睹此、乃曰：『主欲吾儕召天火下降、以焚其人乎？』耶穌顧而斥之曰：『爾等不自知所具者是何精神！蓋人子之來、非以毀人、正欲濟人耳。』乃折往他村。

蓋此恩許、原為爾曹、為爾子孫、以及我天主所召遠方之人也。』

以授子孫。寧容有匿。俾我來胤。咸知歌詠。誦主之德。揚主之勳。

耶穌顧視門徒、謂伯鐸祿曰：『沙殫退去！爾不體主旨、惟體人意。』

苟中情其悅服兮。主必佑之。既潤爾身兮。亦昌爾後。須知主乃眞宰兮。締造天地。

以福音而論、若輩固因爾之故、而為天主之悖逆矣；若就簡選論之、則若輩托祖宗餘蔭依然為天主之所親也。

蓋予知汝之信德、實出至性、自汝外祖母羅懿、已具篤信；汝母幼儀、亦稟斯德；家學淵源、由來舊矣。

且新薦之麵既聖、則其全飥舉聖；樹根既聖、其枝亦聖。

耶穌怒視周眾、哀其心之麻木不仁。顧謂痺手者曰：『伸爾手。』伸之手立愈。

兄弟、吾人對邪惡之事、宜若童蒙、一無所知；惟對於理智、則莫為童蒙、當作老成練達之人。

且平生不作誑語、實無玷之碧玉也。

蓋不信教理之夫、因其妻而沾聖澤；而不信教理之妻、亦因兄弟而沾聖澤焉。不然、爾等之子女將為不潔矣；然而若輩固聖潔也。
