當慕純真之道、如甫生嬰兒之慕乳然、使爾由此而漸長、

故凡自謙似此孩提者、彼在天國為至大、

爾自幼識聖經、聖經能使爾有智慧、由信基督而得救、

我必使之同心合轍、常敬畏我、致彼與其子孫、皆可蒙福、我與之必立永約、不復棄之、施以恩惠、使彼存敬畏我之心、不復背逆我、

怒則勿犯罪、勿含怒至日沒時、

爾為先知之子孫、承天主與列祖所立之約、謂亞伯拉罕曰、天下萬民、將因爾子孫而獲福、

門徒雅各約翰見此、曰、主、欲我命火自天降而滅之、如昔以利亞所行乎、耶穌顧而責之曰、爾心如何、爾自不知、蓋人子來、非為滅人命、乃為救人命也、遂往他村、○

爾子女妻室、與爾營中之外邦客旅、以及為爾析薪汲水者、俱立於主爾之天主前、欲爾遵主爾天主之約、即今日主發誓與爾所立者、或作欲爾遵主爾之天主今日與爾所立之約及所立之誓

蓋所許者、許爾及爾子孫、與諸遠人、即主我天主所召者、

必不隱其子孫、必將主之榮耀權能、並主所行之奇跡、傳於後世、

耶穌回顧門徒、斥彼得曰、撒但退、因爾不念天主之事、惟念人之事、

主必益增爾人丁、益增爾子孫、惟願創造天地之主、賜福於爾曹、

以福音論之、彼則為敵、為爾曹也、以選擇論之、彼則見愛、為列祖也、

我將與爾及爾歷代子孫立我約、以為永約、必為爾之天主、亦為爾後裔之天主、

憶爾有無偽之信、昔爾祖母羅以、爾母友尼基、有此信、我誠知爾亦有此信、

所獻之新麵若聖、則全團亦聖、樹之根若聖、則其枝亦聖、

凡其所為者必不徒勞、所生子女必不夭亡、皆蒙我賜福之人、凡其所生者亦若是、凡其所生者亦若是或作凡其所生者與之同在

主眷愛爾列祖、故選其後裔、施其大能、親自導爾出伊及、

爾中男子、咸當受割禮、此即我與爾及爾後裔所立之約、爾當守之、爾曹皆當受割禮、為我與爾曹立約之徵、爾歷代諸男子、或生於爾家、或購自異邦、非爾後裔、既生八日、皆必受割禮、生於爾家者、或以銀購者、皆當受割禮、如是、我約必立於爾身、以為永約、男子不受割禮、背我約、必絕之於民中、○

耶穌怒目環視、憂眾之心頑、語其人曰、伸爾手、遂伸之、手即愈、如他手、

爾之幼稚、爾言將被擄者、我必導之入、使彼得識爾所藐視之地、

兄弟、論智慧勿似孩提、論惡當似孩提、論智慧當似成人、

蓋不信之夫、因婦為聖、不信之婦、因夫為聖、不然、爾子女不潔、今俱聖矣、
