For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises up against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.

Sons don’t honor their fathers. Daughters refuse to obey their mothers. Daughters- in- law are against their mothers- in- law. A man’s enemies are the members of his own family.

for the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter in law defies her mother in law. Your enemies are right in your own household!

Surely a son considers his father a fool, a daughter opposes her mother, and a daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own household.

曾与你结盟的，都把你送到边界；本来与你友好的，却欺骗你，胜过你；与你同席的（“与你同席的”或译：“吃你的食物的”），在你脚下暗设网罗，你却毫不晓得。

嘲笑父亲，藐视年老母亲的，他的眼必被谷中的乌鸦啄出来，给雏鹰所吃。

连我信任的密友，就是那吃我饭的，也用脚踢我。

迦南的父亲含看见了自己父亲的下体，就去告诉在外面的两个兄弟。于是，闪和雅弗二人拿了件外衣，搭在自己的肩膀上，倒退着进去，盖上他们父亲的下体；因为他们背着脸，所以没有看见他们父亲的下体。挪亚酒醒以后，知道小儿子对他所作的事，

有一种人（“有一种人”直译是“有一世代”）咒诅父亲，又不给母亲祝福。

大卫又对亚比筛和他所有的臣仆说：“看哪！连我亲生的儿子尚且寻索我的命，何况这便雅悯人呢？由他去吧，由他咒骂吧！因为这是耶和华吩咐他的。

亚希多弗对押沙龙说：“你去与你父亲留下来看守王宫的那些妃嫔亲近，这样以色列众人听见你与你父亲已经完全决裂，所有跟随你的人的手就都更坚强了。”于是有人为押沙龙在王宫的平顶上搭了一座帐棚，押沙龙就在以色列众人眼前与他父亲的妃嫔亲近。那时，亚希多弗所出的策略，好像是人求问神得来的话一样。亚希多弗为大卫，或为押沙龙所出的策略都是这样。

押沙龙派遣探子到以色列的各支派中，说：“你们一听见号角的声音，就说：‘押沙龙在希伯仑作王了！’”有二百人从耶路撒冷应邀与押沙龙同去。他们都是诚诚实实地去，对内情一点也不知道。押沙龙献祭的时候，差派人去把大卫的参谋基罗人亚希多弗从他的本城基罗请来。于是叛乱的势力越来越大，跟随押沙龙的人民也越来越多。

原来不是仇敌辱骂我，如果是仇敌，我还可以忍受；也不是恨我的人向我狂妄自大，如果是恨我的人，我还可以躲避他。但你是和我同等地位的人，是我的良友，我的知己。我们常在一起密谈，我们在神的殿中与群众同行。

他回答：“那和我一同把手蘸在盘子里的人，他要出卖我。

你们也会被父母、弟兄、亲戚、朋友出卖，他们又要害死你们一些人。
