他們的手掌按住壞事物，孜孜以求；首領和審判官企圖着報酬；大官貴人說出他們心中的慾望；一人一動，他們就聯結起來。

厥手惟惡是營、而亟行之、牧伯徇情、士師貪賄、大人言其中心之惡欲、共同組織之、

長於作惡、牧伯士師、俱索賄賂、大人所謀不軌、黨同為非、

長者或作牧伯伸手索賄、以非為是、或作手皆行惡且盡力行之長者索賄士師審判求利、大夫所言惟私慾、彼此聯絡為非、若編繩索、

Both hands are skilled in doing evil; the ruler demands gifts, the judge accepts bribes, the powerful dictate what they desire— they all conspire together.

They are very good at doing what is evil. Rulers require gifts. Judges accept money from people who want special favors. Those who are powerful always get what they want. All of them make evil plans together.

Their hands are on what is evil, to do it well; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together.

Both their hands are equally skilled at doing evil! Officials and judges alike demand bribes. The people with influence get what they want, and together they scheme to twist justice.

Both hands are good at accomplishing evil: the official and the judge demand a bribe; when the powerful man communicates his evil desire, they plot it together.

As for evil, both hands do it well. The leader asks for a bribe, also the judge, And the great one speaks the capricious desire of his soul; So they plot it together.

That they may successfully do evil with both hands— The prince asks for gifts, The judge seeks a bribe, And the great man utters his evil desire; So they scheme together.

Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge is ready for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul: thus they weave it together.

Both hands are good at accomplishing evil: the official and the judge demand a bribe; when the powerful man communicates his evil desire, they plot it together.

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge[ asketh] for a reward; and the great[ man], he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

They are determined to be experts at doing evil; government officials and judges take bribes, prominent men make demands, and they all do what is necessary to satisfy them.

Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe; and the powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.

城中的首领为贿赂而审判，祭司为薪俸而教导，先知为银子说默示，他们竟倚靠耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们中间吗？灾祸必不会临到我们身上。”

因为他们不行恶，就不能入睡；不使人跌倒，就要失眠。他们吃的，是奸恶的饭；他们喝的，是强暴的酒。

因为我知道你们的过犯众多，罪大恶极；你们迫害义人，收受贿赂，在城门口屈枉穷乏人；

因此，我必把他们的妻子给别人，把他们的田地给别的主人，因为他们从最小的到最大的，个个都贪图不义之财；从先知到祭司，全都行事诡诈。

所以时候还没有到，你们不要批评，直等到主来；他要照出黑暗中的隐情，显明人心里的动机。那时，各人要从神那里得著称赞。

其中的官长好像撕碎猎物的豺狼，流人的血，灭人的命，为要得不义之财。

你的官长存心悖逆，与盗贼同伙；人都贪爱贿赂，追索私酬；他们不替孤儿伸冤，寡妇的案件也呈不到他们面前。

她在信上写着说：“你们要宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民间的首位上。又叫两个匪徒坐在拿伯的对面，作见证控告他说：‘你曾经咒诅神和君王’；然后把他拉出去，用石头把他打死。”于是拿伯城里的人，就是那些与拿伯同住一城的长老和贵胄，都照着耶洗别送给他们的信上所写的去行。他们宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民间的首席上。然后两个匪徒来坐在拿伯的对面。这两个流氓当众作见证控告拿伯，说：“拿伯曾经咒诅神和君王。”众人就把拿伯拉出城外，用石头打他，把他打死了。于是他们派人去见耶洗别，说：“拿伯已经被人用石头打死了。”

他们醉意全消以后，就不断行淫；他们的官长最喜爱耻辱的事。

因为你看！耶和华从他的居所出来，要惩罚地上居民的罪孽；大地要露出其上所流的血，不再遮盖被杀的人。”

看哪！以色列的领袖们恃着自己的能力，在你里面流人的血。

“如果我把他交给你们，你们愿意给我什么呢？”他们就给了他三十块银子。

耶和华怎会永远怀怒，常存愤恨呢？’你虽然这样说了，还是尽力去作恶。”

那时有成千上万的人聚在一起，甚至彼此践踏。耶稣就先对门徒说：“你们要提防法利赛人的酵，就是虚伪。没有什么掩盖的事不被揭露，也没有什么隐藏的事不被人知道。
