The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets.

Faithful people have disappeared from the land. Those who are honest are gone. Everyone hides and waits to spill the blood of others. They use nets to try and trap one another.

The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net.

我的子民中有惡人，他們像捕鳥人一樣埋伏等候，設下網羅陷害人。

你們奔向邪惡，急於濫殺無辜；你們心懷惡念，所到之處大肆毀滅。

他們若說：「跟我們來吧，我們去埋伏殺人，暗害無辜者取樂；

愚昧人心裡想：「沒有上帝。」他們全然敗壞，行為邪惡，無人行善。耶和華從天上俯視人間，看有沒有明智者，有沒有尋求上帝的人。人們都偏離正路，一同墮落；沒有人行善，一個也沒有！

我的仇敵設下網羅，我心中沮喪。他們在我走的路上挖了陷阱，自己卻掉了進去。（細拉）

他們都是勇士，他們的弓箭殺人無數。

迦勒底人用鉤子鉤住他們，用漁網網住他們，用拖網把他們聚在一起，並因此而歡喜快樂。迦勒底人向漁網獻祭，向漁網燒香，因為他們靠漁網而富裕，食物充足。難道他們要無休止地撒網，無情地毀滅列國嗎？

以血腥建立錫安，以罪惡建造耶路撒冷。

正如聖經上說：「沒有義人，一個也沒有，沒有人明白，沒有人尋求上帝。人人偏離正路，變得毫無價值。沒有人行善，一個也沒有。他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓，舌頭上盡是詭詐，嘴唇有蛇的毒液，滿口咒詛，言語惡毒；殺人流血，腳步飛快；所到之處，大肆毀滅；平安之路，他們未曾知道；他們眼中毫無對上帝的畏懼。」

我父請看，你的這塊袍子在我手中。我割下了你的袍角，沒有殺你，現在你應該明白我並未圖謀背叛你。我沒有對不起你，你卻要置我於死地。

求你不要讓我死在遠離耶和華的異鄉！以色列王為何要像在山上獵殺鷓鴣一樣追捕一隻跳蚤呢？」

惡人的言語暗藏殺機，正直人的口拯救生命。

耶和華說：「看啊，我要召來許多漁夫把他們捕撈上來，我要召來許多獵人去各山嶺和岩穴獵取他們。

敵人步步緊逼，使我們不敢上自己的街。我們的結局近了，我們的日子到頭了，我們的末日來了！
