Your yearning and Your compassion are withheld from me.Yet You are our Father, even though Abraham does not know us and Israel doesn’t recognize us. You, Yahweh, are our Father; from ancient times, Your name is our Redeemer.Why, Yahweh, do You make us stray from Your ways? You harden our hearts so we do not fear You. Return, because of Your servants, the tribes of Your heritage.

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

The one who commits sin is of the Devil, for the Devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the Devil’s works.

I will heal their apostasy; I will freely love them, for My anger will have turned from him.

And He will redeem Israel from all its sins.

Or do you think it’s without reason the Scripture says that the Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously?But He gives greater grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

But thank God that, although you used to be slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were transferred to,and having been liberated from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness.I am using a human analogy because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you offered the parts of yourselves as slaves to moral impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification.For when you were slaves of sin, you were free from allegiance to righteousness.So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.But now, since you have been liberated from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification— and the end is eternal life!

for if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

But I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this dying body?I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself am a slave to the law of God, but with my flesh, to the law of sin.

And I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them; I will remove their heart of stone from their bodies and give them a heart of flesh,so they may follow My statutes, keep My ordinances, and practice them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God.

The Lord will indeed vindicate His people and have compassion on His servants when He sees that their strength is gone and no one is left— slave or free.

Even if He causes suffering, He will show compassion according to His abundant, faithful love.

The Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love Him with all your heart and all your soul so that you will live.

because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.What the law could not do since it was limited by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending His own Son in flesh like ours under sin’s domain, and as a sin offering,

Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to Me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, My inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the Lord’s declaration.

Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city— to bring the rebellion to an end, to put a stop to sin, to wipe away iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.

Lord— how long? Turn and have compassion on Your servants.Satisfy us in the morning with Your faithful love so that we may shout with joy and be glad all our days.

then He will restore your fortunes, have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.

But now, for a brief moment, grace has come from Yahweh our God to preserve a remnant for us and give us a stake in His holy place. Even in our slavery, God has given us new life and light to our eyes.Though we are slaves, our God has not abandoned us in our slavery. He has extended grace to us in the presence of the Persian kings, giving us new life, so that we can rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.I will place My Spirit within you and cause you to follow My statutes and carefully observe My ordinances.
