Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

Lord, who is a God like you? You forgive sin. You forgive your people when they do what is wrong. You don’t stay angry forever. Instead, you take delight in showing your faithful love to them.

Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love.

Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.

There is no other God like you! You forgive sin and pardon the rebellion of those who remain among your people. You do not remain angry forever, but delight in showing loyal love.

Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.

“ It is I who sweep away your transgressions for My own sake and remember your sins no more.

In those days and at that time— this is the Lord’s declaration— one will search for Israel’s guilt, but there will be none, and for Judah’s sins, but they will not be found, for I will forgive those I leave as a remnant.

I will take delight in them to do what is good for them, and with all My heart and mind I will faithfully plant them in this land.

Lord, who is like You among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, revered with praises, performing wonders?

I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you,and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything that you could not be justified through the law of Moses.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and rich in faithful love.He will not always accuse us or be angry forever.

Israel, put your hope in the Lord. For there is faithful love with the Lord, and with Him is redemption in abundance.And He will redeem Israel from all its sins.

But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in faithful love and truth.

For who in the skies can compare with the Lord? Who among the heavenly beings is like the Lord?

Go, proclaim these words to the north, and say: Return, unfaithful Israel. This is the Lord’s declaration. I will not look on you with anger, for I am unfailing in My love. This is the Lord’s declaration. I will not be angry forever.

Lord God of Hosts, who is strong like You, Lord? Your faithfulness surrounds You.

Then the Lord passed in front of him and proclaimed: Yahweh— Yahweh is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in faithful love and truth,maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving wrongdoing, rebellion, and sin. I will make the lame into a remnant, those far removed into a strong nation. Then the Lord will rule over them in Mount Zion from this time on and forever.

For the Lord will not reject us forever.Even if He causes suffering, He will show compassion according to His abundant, faithful love.

and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

I will indeed gather all of you, Jacob; I will collect the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in the middle of its fold. It will be noisy with people.

There is none like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to your aid, the clouds in His majesty.

But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be revered.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against Him

For judgment is without mercy to the one who hasn’t shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Then Moses said,“ Please, let me see Your glory.”He said,“ I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim the name Yahweh before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

He prayed to the Lord:“ Please, Lord, isn’t this what I said while I was still in my own country? That’s why I fled toward Tarshish in the first place. I knew that You are a merciful and compassionate God, slow to become angry, rich in faithful love, and One who relents from sending disaster.

For You, Lord, are kind and ready to forgive, rich in faithful love to all who call on You.

He said: Lord God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below, keeping the gracious covenant with Your servants who walk before You with their whole heart.

Will He bear a grudge forever? Will He be endlessly infuriated?” This is what you have said, but you have done the evil things you are capable of.

They refused to listen and did not remember Your wonders You performed among them. They became stiff-necked and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But You are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in faithful love, and You did not abandon them.

Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy.”

For I will not accuse you forever, and I will not always be angry; for then the spirit would grow weak before Me, even the breath of man, which I have made.

Then everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be saved, for there will be an escape for those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as the Lord promised, among the survivors the Lord calls.

Your righteousness reaches heaven, God, You who have done great things; God, who is like You?

For as a young man marries a young woman, so your sons will marry you; and as a groom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

Who will you compare God with? What likeness will you compare Him to?

Then the remnant of Jacob will be among many peoples like dew from the Lord, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for anyone or linger for mankind.Then the remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, among many peoples, like a lion among animals of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which tramples and tears as it passes through, and there is no one to rescue them.

Then he said,“ My Lord, if I have indeed found favor in Your sight, my Lord, please go with us. Even though this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wrongdoing and sin, and accept us as Your own possession.”

“ Who will you compare Me to, or who is My equal?” asks the Holy One.

At night I remember my music; I meditate in my heart, and my spirit ponders.“ Will the Lord reject forever and never again show favor?Has His faithful love ceased forever? Is His promise at an end for all generations?Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger withheld His compassion?” SelahSo I say,“ I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”

You became weary on your many journeys, but you did not say,“ I give up!” You found a renewal of your strength; therefore you did not grow weak.

Then bring the fattened calf and slaughter it, and let’s celebrate with a feast,because this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.

But what was God’s reply to him? I have left 7,000 men for Myself who have not bowed down to Baal.

My very bones will say,“ Lord, who is like You, rescuing the poor from one too strong for him, the poor or the needy from one who robs him?”

I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people. The sound of weeping and crying will no longer be heard in her.

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

He asked me,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A basket of summer fruit.” The Lord said to me,“ The end has come for My people Israel; I will no longer spare them.

My soul, praise the Lord, and do not forget all His benefits.He forgives all your sin; He heals all your diseases.

He considers no disaster for Jacob; He sees no trouble for Israel. The Lord their God is with them, and there is rejoicing over the King among them.
