But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord; they do not understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.

But those nations don’t know what the Lord has in mind. They don’t understand his plan. He has planned to gather them up like bundles of grain. He has planned to take them to his threshing floor.

耶和華說：「我的意念並非你們的意念，我的道路並非你們的道路。

「萬國都要起來，上到約沙法谷受審判，因為我要坐在那裡審判他們。開鐮吧，因為莊稼熟了；踩踏吧，因為榨酒池的葡萄滿了。他們惡貫滿盈，如酒池滿溢。」

啊，上帝的智慧和知識多麼博大精深！祂的判斷多麼難測！祂的蹤跡多麼難尋！誰曾知道主的心意？誰曾做過祂的謀士？

看啊，耶和華的日子快到了，那時你那裡的財物必被搶掠、瓜分。因為我必招聚萬國去攻打耶路撒冷。那時，城必失守，房屋必被洗劫，婦女必被玷污。半城的人必被擄去，剩下的人必留在城中，不會被剷除。那時，耶和華必出來與列國爭戰，像從前爭戰的日子一樣。

於是，我說：「我的百姓啊！你們像場上被碾、被篩的穀物，現在我把從以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華那裡聽見的都告訴你們了。」

我再觀看，見有一朵白雲，上面坐著的好像是人子，祂頭戴金冠，手拿鋒利的鐮刀。有一位天使從殿中出來，揚聲向坐在雲上的那位說：「揮動你的鐮刀收割吧！地上的莊稼已經熟透了，可以收割了。」於是，坐在雲上的那位便向大地揮動鐮刀，把地上的莊稼都收割了。另一位天使手裡也拿著鋒利的鐮刀從天上的殿中出來。又有一位掌管烈火的天使從祭壇那裡出來，對手拿鐮刀的天使高喊：「揮動你鋒利的鐮刀，收取地上葡萄樹的果實吧！它們已經熟透了。」於是，那天使揮動鐮刀，收取了地上的葡萄，拋到上帝烈怒的大榨酒池中。葡萄在城外的榨酒池中被踩踏，血從榨酒池中湧出，高至馬的嚼環，流了三百公里遠。
